Chapter 25

(A/N as you knew from my last authors note I don't feel really well so I'm not sure when I'm gonna undate again.)

~P.O.V Jennifer~

“So how are you feeling today?” I asked Evelyn. The accident was almost a week ago and she was still in the hospital. She still doesn’t remember anything but we try to tell her as much as possible. Her mother, brother and sister flew in a couple of days ago, the moment we left the hospital the day of the accident I immediately called her family and Justin let them flew over. It was nice for Evelyn because those are the only people she remembered.

“I’m okay, I remembered something last night.” She said, a huge smile grew on my face.

“Really, what did you remember?” I asked.

“I remember being in this film studio thing and I came walking in through huge doors and then you came up running to me. And next to me were two other girls.” She said.

“Omg you remember that?” I asked, wow she remembers, that’s awesome!!

“Yeahh, what was it? It’s all kinda blurry.” She said.

“Well, about half a year ago I heard that I was adopted and Justin and Liam are my brothers so I started to live with them. You still lived in Holland, same as Chermaine and Alex, the two girls who were walking next to you. So Justin arranged that you, Cher and Alex where coming to LA to do a high school year and live with us so I didn’t had to miss y’all anymore so Justin, Liam and I were at the Ellen Show, one of American’s biggest talk shows, to tell the world we were family and then you guys came walking in through those big doors and I came up running to you. I can’t believe you remembered that.” I said, this is amazing! Maybe she will remember more things soon.

“Yeah, now everything is clear. Wow this is awesome! Is the video of that moment online?” She asked. Omg why didn’t I thought about that earlier, there are so much videos of us online. From the Ellen Show, when we were just walking around town and paparazzi would take videos of us and post them online.

“Yeah, I’ll ask Justin to take my laptop with him when he comes later so I can show you.” I said. “Alright, can I tell you some things, maybe if you hear them you remember something.” I said hoping she would.

“Alright, yeah sure.” She said sitting up a bit.

“Okay, what is the first thing you think of when I say ‘kibbling’” I asked.

“Uhm.. I think of ‘oh’” She says.

“Really? Omg you remember!” I said giving her a hug.

“Yeah, I wanted to eat kibbling and you said no so I said ‘oh’“ She said with a huge smile. 

“This is absolutely amazing! I thought you would remember nothing. This is an amazing begin!” I said, I had probably the biggest smile ever on my face. “Wait, I’m gonna call Justin to bring my laptop now so I can show you the video.” I said and walked to the corner of the room and called Justin. When I finished the call I walked back to Evelyn.

“Can I tell you something Jennifer?” She asked.

“Yeah of course!” I answered.

~P.O.V. Evelyn~

I didn’t really knew how to say it to her, she cares so much about me and did so much for me and now I’m doing this to me.

“Can I tell you something Jennifer?” I asked.

“Yeah of course!” She said and sat down in the chair next to my bed.

Fingers crossed that she will understand and won’t get mad. “Uhm I was thinking…” I didn’t knew how to say this… I looked at her and she was looking at me, waiting for to continue “I… I think I’m going back to Holland for a while…” I said before I knew it, I was scared to look at her so I looked at me sheets. After a minute of complete silence I looked up and saw a tear streaming down Jennifer’s cheek.

“Wh- why?” She asked.

“Because I will get out of the hospital tomorrow and I can’t ask you to take care of me. You have to enjoy your life and don’t worry all the time about me. I can’t stop you from living your life, you have some amazing opportunities because of your brothers. You can tour with them and travel the world, you can become a successful model. I don’t want to be the person who will stop you from doing what you love, doing what you’ve always dreamed of. I just can’t.” I explained.

“Babe you know you will never stop me from doing all that. Maybe you don’t remember but since we met each other we dreamed of living in America together and now we are. I’m not going to let a stupid accident stop us from living our dream. I never wanted anything but this. I don’t care that I can’t model of travel the world. I can do that later. My top priority now is to make sure you’re alright. That you will remember all the amazing thing we’ve done together and nothing will stop me from doing that!” She said, I didn’t noticed I was crying until I felt some salt liquid in the corner of my mouth. Her saying that means so much to me!

“Thank you so much Jennifer! You’re the best friend I could ever wish for! Thank you thank you thank you thank you thank you!” I said and sat up a bit to give her a hug. I didn’t care at the moment that I didn’t remembered anything because at this very moment I knew everything would be alright as long as Jennifer would be at my side.
