She Loves Me?

The light faded away and we were back in my room. I didn't even look at ink when I ran out of the door to my room. I yelled for Alphis and Tori to help me as I held Frisk to me. Tears still rolled down my face when I remembered she didn't have her eye in. How were we going to explain this to the others. I mean yea Alphis knew but the others didn't.

Tori and the others came rushing to where I was at the bottom of the stairs. When they saw Frisk still wrapped in my blue magic they gasped. Alphis and Tori ran over immediately and took her from me. Putting her on the table Alphis went for the first aid kit while Tori continued healing Frisk. I sat on the stairs and looked at Frisk as they worked.

Papyrus came up and sat next to me. He hugged my crying shaking frame. "EVERYTHING WILL BE OK BROTHER. FRISK IS BACK NOW AND TORIEL AND ALPHIS WILL HELP HER GET BETTER. I JUST WANT TO KNOW WHERE YOU WENT OR HOW SHE GOT BACK."

"Paps... I know you guys were discussing how to get Frisk back but I couldn't wait. So I went to my room and thought that if I went back to our old home that maybe I could find something there to help me. I was packed and everything when..." I stopped talking got up and bolted to my room. Ink was still in there sleeping on the bed. Opening interdimentional cracks in space time was exhausting work and I already knew that.

Paps came in behind me to see ink lying there. "Sans who is that... and why do they have your face?." He spoke softly which wasn't like him. I think he was worried he would wake them.

"That is Ink. He appeared an my room and helped me pick up Frisk from the void. We got there to late though. When we found Frisk..." I stopped I was sobbing again and fell to my knees. Paps just picked me up then ink and took us to the living room putting us on the couch. I had fallen asleep. I was tiard, and worried that they wouldn't wake up. Even with Alphis and Tori I was scared for Frisk. What if that monster came back while I had my eyes off Frisk.

Paps woke me up a while later with plates of spaghetti for everyone. Even ink took a plate. He made the same face Frisk had when they first tried it but he ate it anyway. He introduced himself and gave us an explanation as to what had happened.

"So you see error he's just confused. Neither of us have a universe like everyone else and to to make one or destroy them he needs Frisks soul. He wants to soul of the strongest of them which is in this universe. Classic Frisk is stronger than underswap, underfell, flowerfell, and many others combined. Honestly second would be flowerfell Frisks soul but that one is impossible to get. They... they had died when they freed everyone. Or so error thinks. As I recall their soul was three and split into two to break the barrier and one to sustain Frisk."

He paused and looked at us all before he continued. "And since Chara from underswap is not Frisk their soul won't work despite that it runs third in power. Underfell frisk well they are also inaccessible because fellsans and and fellpap will not let error see them. So classic Frisk was the only one he could get to and still is. So he will be back to claim their soul of darkness."

"What do you mean soul of darkness, Frisk has the soul of determination doesn't she?" Me and Alphis looked at each other. Tori didn't know neither did anyone else. She had just asked the question on everyone's mind.

"No, she lost that about a week after we came above ground Tori. We didn't tell you what happened that day because she didn't want to. Paps you remember that day when you heard Frisk scream after they came to get me for dinner, but when you came to see what happened we weren't there... well i-" I walked over to Frisk. I touched her face where her eye had once been. "It had been an accident I sware. I was having a nightmare again like I had been for a very long time. When Frisk came to get me covered in tomatoes from paps cooking I- I thought that they had gone genocide and killed everyone. I shot.."

I was shaking and tears ran down my face. "I shot a bone through their eye and battled them before I realized that they only had 20hp which they wouldn't have if they killed everyone. They weren't as broken as they are now but when I took them to Alphis for help. She couldn't fix their eye. And Frisk wouldn't reset so Alphis made them a glass eye. I avoided Frisk for a long time after that. Not because I was scared of them but.. but because I didn't want to hurt them again."

I stopped talking and pulled out a chair next to Frisk and just kept my hand on their white face. Their hair had started to turn white to now. Ink had explained that it was exposure to the void that Frisks appearance would change a bit. I brushed my thumb against their cheek and moved their hair out of their face.

"ALPHIS IS WHAT MY BROTHER SAYING TRUE? THAT HE HURT FRISK AND NO ONE TOLD US." Paps asked Alphis who just shook their head in response.

"Alphis why didn't you tell me. I could have helped Frisk get around with one eye better than anyone else. I was wondering why they were having issues taking things from people." This time it was Undine who spoke and she was right. She could have helped Frisk.

"We didn't tell you guys because Frisk didn't want us to." I turned my gaze to them. "We promised Frisk we wouldn't say a word to anyone unless we had to."

"And Frisks dark heart is what called to error. It took him a while to formulate a plan on how to get them which obviously failed but the only question we can ask now is how Frisk got away." Ink spoke up trying to end the conversation.

"I made a deal... with error.. that if I... could get away from h... him he would... let me go back.. to my universe. I just.. didn't count on... a cliff in.. the void. Heh thought I.. was going to die... this time." Frisk had opened their eye and were talking. "Hey sans.. can you get... my spar from.. Alphis please. Then help me.. put it on." Alphis came over and pulled the spar out of her pocket. Handing it to me.

"Ok I'm going to stand in front of you so the other don't have to see this." She slowly nodded and I moved in front of her face taking my hand and she opened the empty socket. I hated to see it like this but I didn't have a choice. Frisk probably couldn't move much right now nor should they. I used my magic to move it into place as I held it open and put it in. "There you go Frisk its in." I sat back down in the chair next to them.

"Hey guys.. can you leave me.. and Sans alone for a bit... we have some.. things we need to discuss." Everyone gave us a worried glance but did as asked. Ink went with paps because that is what I told him to do.

"Ok Frisk their gone what is it you wanted to tell me?"

"Sans... come here. A bit.. closer to me." I inclined my head towards theirs to where if I had a nose mine would almost touch theirs. "Sans I... I thought about.. it when I was with... error and decided... to tell you.. that I love you."

My eyes ment wide with shock. "Wait. Dispute what happened you.. you love me?" They nodded their head. "Hey kiddo, good news is I love you to."

"Heh yea, good news... Sans. I'm kinda tiard. So can I stay.. with you tonight?" I nod my head.

"Sure kiddo. I might even tell you a bone tickling pun or two when you get better ok." They nod closing their eyes and I lean in. My teeth touch their lips as I held them close. I had lost them once, never again. I picked them up and left to my room. Laying them on the bed carefully I told everyone we were going to bed. It was late anyway. I sat on the floor next to the bed. My hand on theirs as I we started to fall asleep.
