Tori and Alphis finally walked out of my room. "We've done what we could but we are not really sure how to treat frisks wounds. Their soul is hardly keeping together as it is, and I fear that their time in this void area has affected them pretty badly. So right now it's all up to Frisk."

I stopped listening as I walked past them into my room locking the door behind me. Frisk was so pale and their white hair was almost blinding. "Hey... Sans. What's... up with that frown... shouldn't that smile of yours... be right side up... maybe if I turned... upside down... I could see it again."

"Heh sorry kiddo. I was just thinking over some stuff in my head was all. So umm Alphis says that they've healed you as much as they could. So I'm assuming they are talking more about your physical body and your soul is the problem, right kiddo."

"Seems that way. From what I can tell.. Sans I think... I can't reset anymore. I think that the determination... I had when I was... in the underground... left that day long ago." She held her hand to her eye that wasn't there.

"So if I hadn't done that thing. If I hadn't had that nightmare or made that mistake you would still have it?"

"That's not what I meant sans... not at all. I just think that... most of what I lost that day... was my determination. I don't want... to reset anymore... I never wanted to.. but I thought I was missing something... So I went back but could... never find it. Then I realized... that it was you I was missing. Though... after that incident and your avoiding me... I just never got it back. Heck I still haven't gotten it back.."

"Frisk stop talking. Your out of breath and you know it. So just breathe for awhile. Or if you'd prefer I can get Mettaton to set up a date. Supervised of course."

"Heh sans you forgot... to make a pun..."

"What did I say about talking. Maybe I have to silence you a different way?" I said leaning over to kiss them. They giggled and closed their eyes. My teeth touched their lips again. And we stayed like that till frisk patted my shoulder telling me that they needed the air. I backed off and jus lay my head on their chest. Our hands intertwined as we fell asleep.

"Sans.. would you like to join... me on the bed tonight. It's..  kinda bonely here.. by myself. Plus I think.. that I'd feel a bit... safer in your arms." Their face was red as they said that.

"Heh sure kiddo wouldn't wantcha feeling bonely in that bed. But if it hurts at any point. Or you need something don't forget to wake me up and ask. Like this morning. I kinda wish you'd woken me up sooner."

"Sorry sans. You had been up so late... I didn't want to wake you. Besides... it gave me the opportunity... to do this." She took her hand and ran it over my cheek bone. I could tell my face was as blue as hers was red.

"Speaking of its been awhile should we have Alphis bring in some medicine just in case anyway. That way it will save me the trip. You know I'm a lazy bones."

Her eyes where half open when she spoke. "Nah sans.. I won't be able to take it... in a little anyway.. I'm sorry.. but I think.. that the darkness... might just take me... for a little while... see.. you.." I waited for her to finish but it never came. Her eyes were closed and she almost looked dead except for the fact that she was obviously breathing.

Damn it Alphis I guess it really is up to her now isn't it. My eye filled with green light as I wrapped her up in it. "Frisk don't you dare die on me, ok. You better wake up. Even if it takes a little while I will wait for you." I moved my teeth to her head and closed my eyes. Time for some serious sleep.
