Michael; Crying wiping tears. I don’t know girls you hurt her so bad. You know. Even if we get her to come back for the egg it doesn’t mean she’ll stay. If I place an ad about the egg and give this phone number she will know and think it’s a trick. Sadly
Sylvia; Then ask uncle Charlie please daddy!! Please try.
Michael looks at his babies and nobs his head. He calls Charlie and explains everything to him about what is happening and why. Charlie agrees and places the ad for Michael.
A week passes and no one calls. Michael goes to work but is not the same. He is so sad. His friends at work see this and know he has a broken heart. The girls at school aren’t as happy as they were before and the teachers are concerned and call home to ask. Michael explains that there were family issues happening and it will be better soon.
Since no one called about the egg Charlie was reluctant to place the ad again but he saw how sad that Michael was still and even though he knew Michael hadn’t asked to place it again he did so. On the third day of the second ad the phone rang.
Dina; Hello? I am calling about your ad in the paper of the found Fabrige Egg.
Charlie; Oh yes. Great. He explains the rehearsed story of how he found the egg.
Dina; I don’t know how it could have gotten there but. I thank you for finding it and placing the add. It holds sentimental value to me. Would it be okay to come and pick it up tomorrow afternoon? I will be leaving town next week for a job further away and would like to have it before I go. I don’t intend on returning to Orlando.
Charlie; Sure. That can be arranged. He gives her his address and arranges a time.
Dina; Thank you very much Mr. Wilcox
Charlie; Welcome. Ms. Santos see you tomorrow afternoon at 4 Hanging up the phone.
Smiling he picks up his phone again an calls Michael Tells his the news and Michael thanks Charlie. Michael tells his girls and they make plans to be at Charlies when Dina comes for the egg.
4 PM….
KNOCK!! KNOCK!!
Michael opens the door to see a surprised Dina there. Taking her hand pulling her gently inside he is trembling.
Dina; Mr. Jackson? I..I don’t…
Michael pulls her into his arms gently, kisses her softly, I love you Dina. I couldn’t let you go without knowing that. Please forgive me for everything my behavior, everything.
Dina; smiling afraid to hope tears in her eyes as she looks into his beautiful brown eyes glistened with tears. You love me?
Michael; Yes, I do. I want you to stay with me. With us be apart of our lives our family.
Crystal: Dina we’re so sorry tears are trickling down her face. We were so mean to you.
Sylvia; We didn’t mean it. She runs to Dina and hugs her. Please stay. We love you. We’re sorry. Crying.
Crystal; Here. Here is the fabrige egg. We had it in our desk at school. I’m so sorry it was my idea. I didn’t mean it. Sylvia’s right. We love you!! Stay with us. Be our mommy!!
Dina looks at them hugs them tears falling. Mommy? Looking at Michael. He is smiling.
Michael; Marry me Dina? Be my wife? I love you!!
Dina; I love you Michael!! So much!! She kisses him. Yes!! I wil marry you!!
Michael is so happy he picks her up and spins her around. Kissing Dina tenderly. The girls cheer and are happy. They have a mommy again. Their daddy is happy and They love Dina and she loves them. A Family is what this hard working man wanted for his children and the love of his life to share that family with. Michael knows he has found it all with the love of Dina, who came to him as a housekeeper and became his soul mate and love that he had been missing for so long.
