"Bleak. Bare. Cold. Hunger. Another leaf-bare will pass by and it will seem like the last. But it won't feel the same. A blue tom will sense it. I know it."
A beautiful silver tabby with diamond eyes breathed every word as if telling someone, but there was no one there. Stars glittered in her pelt and eyes, shining brighter than the moon. She sat alone by a pool of stars.
An eternity seemed to past when a blue calico tom padded up to her and sat beside the pool. His eyes glisten as he stared into the stars.
He jerked suddenly and looked into the eyes with terror and sorrow. The she-cat looked sharply at him but she did not disturb him. Instead she watched with such intensity as he jerked around. Then he stopped, and stared into space.
"It's here. It's finally here." Breathed the tom as he trembled.  The she-cat got up and circled around him.
"Star light, you were right." He said, slowly easing it out.
"I know I'm right Lakeshine, but this could spell disastrous for the clans." Star light said, her eyes wide with terror.
"We must tell them immediately, after the ceremony, or before it. Either way, they must know." Lakeshine was shaking violently.
"Very well. I will tell them myself. Tonight." Star light got up and walked away, her paw steps fading into the distance.
