Elena's POV

I woke up and saw a letter next to me "ouch"I said placing my hand on my head,oh my god I am totally late for my class I quickly got up and dressed up and ran to my class I sat next to the guy that was creepily staring at me yesterday"Elena I thought you won't come since you drank a lot yesterday"He said"Oh my god,did I do something did I-"he cuts me off "no you didn't,you just sat next to a guy and talked to him and then you and him just left"

"Who was this guy?"I asked and he answered"it was Damon Salvatore"oh my god he must of left me this message earlier"Good morning class sorry I am late"When the belled rang I went outside and read the letter"Hello gorgeous"a guy said"What do you want?"I asked"Look behind"when I turned around I saw Damon"Hey Elena"He said smiling"Hey Damon"I said

"Sorry this is so awkward but my friend Enzo really wants Bonnie's number he's like obsessing over her can you please give it to him,and before you ask they know each other"I took a small paper out of my bag and wrote Bonnie's number"here you go"I said taking his hand and giving him the paper,when I touched his hand he looked at me and I looked at him suddenly Enzo came from behind"Thank you Elena"He said and went outside"Oh um I better go"I said ignoring Damon and went to our dorm"Elena what's wrong?"Bonnie asked"Oh it's-its nothing,and by the way I gave Enzo your number"She smiled"Oh okay I wanted to meet him today"She said"Oh come on don't hide it,you have a crush"I said and she opened her mouth"No I don't!"I laughed"Okay!,let's see what's gonna happen after a few weeks"I finished my sentence and Caroline entered"Oh my god Elena,Bonnie we have to go to this party!"Caroline said with excitement

"Again?"Me and Bonnie say at the same time"Yes again!,since Bonnie is with Enzo and you Elena are with Damon,and I am going with Stefan Salvatore"She jumped on her bed"No no you got this wrong Caroline,I am not with Damon and well Bonnie says that she's not with Enzo but I know it's gonna happen"I say and she looked at me

"Wait so you didn't see how Damon was looking at you and Bonnie you didn't see how Enzo was looking at you argh,guys stop denying it"She said it"I am not"Bonnie said and I laughed"I am with Bonnie here"

"Okay fine just please come to the party please?"She begged us and we nodded"You have to wear something pretty"We all laughed and I went outside "Hey Elena"Liam said"Hey Liam what are you doing here?"I asked"Oh I want to ask you on a date next Friday"I smiled and nodded"Okay how about seven?"He asked"Perfect see you later"I smiled going outside,oh god what have I done

Damon's POV

I went outside and pumped into Elena"I am so sorry are you okay?"I asked and she smiled"Yeah I am"I smiled

"So are you going to this party tonight?"I asked"Yeah Caroline is obsessed with these things and she's totally obsessed with Stefan"I laughed"I am glad that your okay"I said and she laughed"Yeah that didn't hurt"She said"No I mean about yesterday you told me that you broke up with your boyfriend and a car nearly hit you"I say and she stood silent"Wow I can't remember the second part"She said surprised"Sorry did I scare you?"I asked and she shock her head"No I am fine"I placed my hand on her shoulder"are you sure?"She looked at me and nodded

"Yeah I am,see you at the party Damon"She said but I feel like she's ignoring me or something"What are you doing with her?"Andy said she was totally jealous"Just talking She's a friend"I lied"Okay fine,I am leaving tomorrow morning to visit my family,I am gonna miss you"She said and I smiled well I actually faked a smile"I have to go"I said going inside the dorm and saw Bonnie and Enzo talking"Sorry buddy"I said and Bonnie laughed"No it's fine"Enzo said"We were actually gonna go outside"Bonnie said standing up and so did Enzo they went outside and I sat on my bed closing my eyes and Stefan opened the door laughing"I asked Caroline on a date and she said yes!"I laughed"good for you buddy"I smiled and he went to the bathroom

A FEW HOURS LATER

I entered the house and saw Stefan smiling at Caroline he took her hand and they went outside I saw Elena laughing and went near her"Hey"I said and she smiled"Hey Damon"She said smiling"Wanna dance?"I asked her"Sure"She says I take her hand and started dancing she threw her arms around my neck and laughed I smiled,we danced for a few minutes and then she took my hand and dragged me outside"Let's have a drink"She said and I smiled we went into a bar and got drunk,We went outside and she kissed my cheek"Thank you Damon"She smiled and I smiled back"See you tomorrow"She said giving me a small smile and went back to her dorm,"Damon wait"She yelled I turned around"here call me tomorrow"I smiled and went to my dorm and sat on my bed,placing the paper Elena gave me next to my phone and went to sleep
