Thirteen

I woke up and looked around...this is not Lizzy's room...this is Abel's room...fuck.

I stood up and was hit with cold air I jumped back under the covers and looked around, there was a naked Abel next to me...and I was naked...shit.

I saw my underwear next to me and put them on I then saw his shirt and threw that on then my shorts. I walked downstairs and no one was up yet. I sat down on the couch and went through Instagram on my phone when someone knocked on the door. I went and opened it and there stood Brett.

"Hey im really sor-" he said but then he saw what I was wearing, "You had sex with someone else?" He asked more to himself. "You broke up with me." I said monotonous blocking out all my emotions. "I said I wanted a break...not to breakup." He said with disbelief, "I was a player before why wouldn't I be after?" I said and he nodded his head, "Fuck it, I guess you are just a rotten whore!" He said and I breathed out in disbelief, my heart shattered all over again. "Kylie?" I hear someone say from behind me. I look at the person and it was Abel, "Yeah?" I asked and he came and wrapped his arms around my waist, he was just wearing sweatpants, "Who is this?" He asked and I looked back at Brett who llooked heartbroken, "No one he was just leaving." I said and Brett nodded slowly, he turned around and walked away.

"Who was that?" Abel asked again and and I turned around smiling at him after closing the door, "Brett, he's my ex. Like I said before he's no one." I said and he nodded. He buried his face in my neck and I smiled. "I'm gunna go get dressed, be right back." I said and he nodded letting me go.

I ran upstairs and found my clothes and out them on then ran back downstairs; Lizzy was down here now too, "Hey." She said and I smiled tightly, "So...Brett was here today." I said and she raised her eyebrows, she walked into the kitchen and I followed her, she walked over to the coffee pot and poured three cups, she put a ton of sugar in two cups and none in the other.

She handed the black coffee to Abel and one of the sweet ones to me, "He had the nerve to come here?" She asked and I nodded, "Wait? He's a recent ex? I thought it was one of your old fuck buddies." Abel said and I shook my head, "Broke up with her yesterday." Lizzy said and I nodded looking away so they couldn't see my tears, "Oh..." Abel said and awkwardness settled over us all.

A phone suddenly ringing startled us all and I recognized he ringtone as mine. I answered and sipped my coffee.

"Hello?"

"Darling! Where are you?! Are you okay?! We've all been worried sick about you!"

"I'm fine mom, I'm at Lizzy's, didn't Brett tell you that? He came here earlier. He's the reason I'm here anyways..."

"You guys split?"

"Yeah, he said he wanted a break so I came here and made the mistake of hooking up with someone else-"

"You think hooking up with me was a mistake?" Abel asked pretending to be offended but we both knew it was a one time thing; he's a player too.

"Haha Abel very funny."

"Wait you had sex with Abel?! Lizzy's brother? That's weird."

"Eh whatever."

"Whatever just come home soon you have a fight in a few hours."

"Okay mom, see you soon. Love you bye."

"Bye"

I ended the call and played with my hands for a second, "I'm gunna head home guys, Lizzy? You coming with? We have that thing remember?" I asked and she nodded understanding, "Yeah sure let me get dressed then we can go to our thing." She said and we laughed and she ran upstairs.

I finished my coffee and put my cup in the sink and then waited for Lizzy, she came back downstairs soon and we headed out. She grabbed her helmet I gave her and we hopped on. I sped off towards my house and she held on.

"Now welcome to the ring...KYLIE SMITH!" The announcer yelled, I ran out and did my little routine, skip, take in the opponent, etc.

It was a taller guy, from New York, buff, and it was real muscle...not a good feeling about this one...

The bell dinged signaling the start and he didn't came the first move so I did. I ran towards him and kicked his side, he stumbled a bit the other way but caught his balance quickly. He grabbed my ankle and spun it. I fell flat on my stomach, all the wind knocked out of me. I felt a sharp pain in my back soon and realized he punched me.

This bitch has some nerve...

I stood up quickly and punched his nose then his lip and basically wherever I could on his face.

He eventually tapped out when neither of us could get leverage on the other and he realized I wasn't giving out; him tapping out was an automatic win for me.

I ran over to where Lizzy was standing with my stuff along with Jared, Caden, and Jack. I smiled and threw a hoodie on along with some sweatpants. I felt someone tap my shoulder and I turned around seeing Brett standing there, "What the fuck do you want?" Lizzy said before I could react. "Just to congratulate her." He said lifting his hands in the air and backing away a few steps, "Well then get on with it-" Lizzy started to say I TO cut her off, "Liz, it's okay. I got this." I said to her and she smiled tightly at me and scowled at Brett as she packed up my things, she took the money from the man and put it in my bag, "Congrats, you won. One more state down only five left to go." He said and I nodded coldly. "Okay Kylie I can't stand this, the cold shoulder all of this. You have every right to be mad at me I was just scared that when I did what I wanted to do you would reject me and I don't get scared so when I did I backed out and dealt with it the wrong way I'm sorry." He said and I nodded, "I'm sorry too, I shouldn't have been so harsh...now what's the thing The Brett was so scared of?" I asked and he smiled, "It's waiting at home." He said and I nodded. "I'll be there later, Lizzy and I are going out for dinner after this. See you soon?" I asked and he nodded smiling like crazy, "Love you." He said before pecking my lips and running out to the car.
