"Hi im Veronica Hameran here with your daily news. Let's get straight to it, there are flash flood warnings for 50 miles around." The news reporter said and I got bored and turned it off. "I was watching that!" Brett said and I gave him an 'are-you-kidding-me' look and he shook his head. I rolled my eyes and turned it back on for him to watch.

I leaned back in the couch and slowly drifted off to sleep again.

"Uh Kylie...you might wanna see this." Brett said shaking me. I woke up and he led me over to the window. I looked outside and started laughing so hard my sides hurt.

There was my brother and Jared...in a canoe...going against the current...trying to get to the front door.

I walked over to the front door and opened it, "GUYS!" I yelled and they all looked at me. "HELP!" Caden said and I laughed going back inside and over to the garage. I went in and grabbed some rope. I went back in the house and over to the front door, I walked outside onto the porch and threw it in their direction. It landed close enough that they could grab it and I pulled them in. I helped them onto the porch and they came in. "Do you have any clothes I can borrow?" Lizzy asked, "Duh." I said. "Caden give Jared clothes and Brett give Jack clothes." I said and they all nodded and we all headed upstairs.

I gave Lizzy a pair of black shorts and a loose grey crop top. I changed into something similar and then we walked downstairs. All the guys were already down there. Brett and Jack wolf whistled when they saw us and we laughed and sat on our boyfriends laps.

Jared and Caden picked out a movie and played it, it turned out to be the exorcist.

I curled into Brett as it started and he protectively wrapped an arm around me and I smiled, breathing in his scent which was a vanilla/woods-ish smell, "Is this new? The cologne?" I asked and he looked down at me, "Why?" He asked and I smiled. "I like it." I said tugging at his hoodie he was wearing. He sighed and pulled it off so he was shirtless I pulled it on and slipped my arms inside of it and took my crop top off under it and put my arms back in the sleeves. I threw the crop top to the side and no one even noticed because they were so focused on the movie.

"Hello? Anyone home?" I hear my mom say. I jump up and run towards the garage door. I see my mom standing there soaking wet with her boyfriend behind her. "Hey..." I said getting their attention. "Oh, hey Kylie." He said and I smiled tightly.

I walked back into the living room and curled back up into Brett and drifted off to sleep once again.
