Edger's POV

GET TO THE CAR!! She yelled I stared shooting zombies that were in front of us. Get in! No time! We won't get it started until the Herd is right in front of us! Sh*t! Get in the Trunk! Now! We got out of the van and opened the trunk and got in. Close it! She closed it and locked it. All we could do was just sit there and wait. I looked at Jessica. She had tears rolling down her eyes. Don't cry I said quietly. I wiped the tears from her face. I love you... she said. She kissed me. I love you to. We sat there and watched the shadows of the zombies walk the road through. At this point she's sitting in my lap. Please... don't die on my. Like... Ever. I know. I missed you so much over the past six years.

I woke up. Apparently Jessica fell asleep in my arms cause I woke up to her sleeping in my arms. I saw her start to open her eyes. We made it... I said. Yeah... we did. She smiled. Now let's go find their base. I opened the trunk. Daylight pretty much blinded Jessica and I. I saw a few zombies in the distance. We started driving heading north again. Until we reached the mountains. I looked at her. Best go have a look. We walked up a path until we saw a wooden gate. Oh no... they aren't that far from us. We saw a ladder that led to a watch tower also made out of wood. Alright. I got my knife out. And sure enough there was a guard up there. I took him out. I grabbed a telescope that the guard was holding. Keeping watch inside the walls, smart. I could already tell you that these people ain't stupid. I was looking inside the walls. This place was filled with people that had fur coats. Made sense because it was freezing up here. There were tents for housing, a wooden house for whoever the leader is, across from that was another wooden building that looked like the workshop. Then there was a watchtower that had a machine gun inside of it. It had walk paths that were built across the mountain. They led into the leaders home and the workshop. There was even a wooden building next to most of the housing and it looked like that's where they took prisoners. Jesus... I muttered under my breath. Lastly I saw a massive tent that was made out of animal skins and I could see lots of bikes in there. Yup looks like these are the right people. Just then I saw something that I dreaded for a long time. Oh no... he's alive?! That's Marcus! I said under my breath. He was dragging a body out of the prisoners building. I climbed down. Edger. What did you see? The red head asked me. We need to go. Now! Be quite though. That's a lot of people in there.
