제26장 (Chapt.26)

It was finally the day of the event. We had a dry rehearsal to get used to the space of the stage and soon enough, we went live.

It wasn't long until it was my cue and also Jungkook's to go on stage. I was extremely nervous because well, I fell for him, again. But as for him, I don't think so.

We sang the last few lines while dancing closer to each other and finally, it's the end. We looked into each other's eyes and believe me, we were so close to each other that I can't help but to look at his lips. But to avoid any suspicion, I quickly looked back up and to my surprise, he was staring at mine. It was so awkward that I just froze.

Without warning, I felt his soft lips pressed against mine. My eyes shot wide open and I was literally in shock. I didn't respond to the kiss because I was stunned and I heard the crowd go wild. He let go and looked at me in the eyes.

"Stop making me go crazy Ahreum, I fell for you again after all these times," he said to the microphone, causing the whole studio to hear it. I swear at that moment, my mic fell.

"S- sorry," I quickly ran backstage and went into my waiting room.

Did that just happen? Or was that my imagination? I pinched myself to make sure it was real and well, it was real.

It's not that I didn't want to accept him but all of this is just too sudden, but isn't that what I want? I closed my eyes and calmed myself down when suddenly I hear the doorknob turn.

"Ahreum-ah?" I looked up and saw Jungkook walking slowly towards me.

"Look, this sounds crazy and you may not be able to accept it but, I fell for you. Again. I don't know why myself. It makes me go insane but I understand if you don't like me back you know?" he rubbed at the back of his neck while looking down.

Oh god he's the one who's making me go insane.

"W-who says I uh- don't?" I tried to look up to see what his reaction was and he just give me a blank expression.

"Huh? Don't what?" He asked. This boy is so blur I can literally hit his head with the mic.

"Ugh omg Jeon Jungkook who says I don't like you?" I stood up and looked at him. He then puts on a smirk which makes my heart go crazy and I can feel myself blushing.

"Uhhh I have to go I think my manager's calling YES MANAGER-NIM!" I literally dashed out of the room because I know myself that my face is beet red. Holy shit did that just happened? How am I going to face him again?

Unfortunate for me, We Got Married's filming is continuing today which means I have to face Jungkook. The PD ask me to sit down on one of the seats in the cafe and they will be interviewing the both of us together.

I was the first the arrive and I drank my iced coffee while waiting for Jungkook. I then heard his voice greeting the crew, I looked down as soon as we made eye contact.

"So yesterday Jungkook kind of confess to you Ahreum-ssi. What are your thoughts?"

"My thoughts? Well uh you see. Gosh ARMYs are gonna kill me for this," I looked down while playing with my fingers. Suddenly Jungkook held my hand and raised it.

"She likes me and now, we're together. For real," he said and turned to smile at me. I gave him a shocked look.

"Hey, you're wearing the earrings I gave you in high school and you confessed to me yesterday. Remember?" He smirked. Gosh about the earrings, I was looking through my memory box and decided to try on the earrings and I guess I forgot to take it off when I went to sleep. Great.

"Woah congratulations! Hope you guys will go far!"

I can feel my face is becoming hot so I quickly grab my ice coffee and drink it.

"Ahreum-ah, I need to show you something" Jungkook dragged me out as soon as the filming ended.

What is he doing? He's just making my heart beats faster. Jeon Jungkook what have you done?
