WHAT MAKES A MAN

Haidar was so devastated by whats going on in his life,but he also vow to comeback stronger because thats what make a man,a real man turn his downfall into success and haidar wants to do the same with his life.
School resumed and its finally a new semester but for haidar its also a new chance to become a better person ,he was more serious not like before and he also talk less and hang less with his friends now.
Hes living something of a lonely life from hostel to lectures then library thats haidars new routine,but that also spark new bad reputation for haidar with people saying he has attitude problem and he has much pride most especially girls but deep down haidar knows he is doing whats best for himself,thats the only way he is going to restore his image and spotlight in the eyes of people.
Examinations timetable is finally out with some of haidar's friends telling him to drop some courses inother to have less credit units but deep down haidar did not undermine himself,he knows he can make it,the exams officer sent for haidar telling the risk of not passing all the courses,he also suggest haidar should drop two courses but haidar refused to do so.
Haidar's mum covered for him by not telling his Dad about the result but his Dad finally found out because of one talkative who is in the same area with haidar but he is in NDII ,he told Haidar's dad that first semester result was out and his Dad was suprised that haidar did not tell him about it.
So he decided to give haidar a call,Haidar was in the library when his phone rang so he come outside to pick the call,he greets his Dad and his dad asked about his wellbeing and how is school before saying 'malam so your result was out but you did not tell anyone,haidar was shocked hearing his Dad talking about result,his Dad continued yaqoob told me today at the mosque ,so hw is the result,hope you make your points ,haidar was blabbering but he man up and told his dad about his G.P(Grade point)which his dad scold him so much that haidar was crying infront of the library ,tears are rolling down his cheeks and he refused to disconnect the call till his dad finished,haidar cried his life out that day before his mum called and asked what happen he told her dad found out about my result which she told him not to worry about what his dad said ,he should just focus on his studies right now inother to be able and shame his enemies who wants him to fail ,haidar heed his mums advice and promised her to make her a proud mum.
Haidar washed his face before going bacj to the library with his friend BB noticing haidar eyes were red and his face has swollen due too much crying but when he asked haidar denies it by insisting it was an insect that enters his eyes.
Haidar went on a hunger strike that day by not eating anything whenever he remembers what his dad said on the phone,he becomes more sad and more challenging.
Exams started and Haidar learnt his lesson well,nomore competition of finishing first rather than to take his time and put up a good write up which will convince any lecturer thats marking his script to know that the person knows what hes doing.Exams ended but haidar felt something positive will happen this semester,he was soon back home for His I.T (Industrial Training)and to spend his long vacation.
Haidar started his I.T at N.T.A where he met new friends from different schools including his class mates,the I.T was a bit cool at the start with the staffs making it easier for Haidar and co but when one of the staff came back from his long vacation in person of Mr Malami life became tougher for the I.T members,he was so strict and also a bully he took their log books and said he will grade them by himself and nobody will miss any day or come late to the station.He divided them into two groups those in news department and those in programs department,Haidar falls in the news department which Malami was the head there.
One day he took haidar,Rukayya and others to the state house without telling them what to do there,as soon as they reach he gave haidar the mic and tell him he is going on a live interview with the chairman house committee on water about the shortage of water supply and how to solve it,Haidar was so scared he starts blabbing asking malami what will he say or how will he even start when he has not even planned his questions,luckily for haidar the chairman wasnt around .
After four months of torments from malami haidar is finally done with his I.T and he is enjoying his remaining holiday at home by the company he has from his school friend Raliya who is in town and she usually calls him and they meet at night ,mostly at her residence ,they talk so much and shes finally trying to fill the void left by Fadeela in haidars heart,shes so friendly and cute, also funny,so they got acquainted with each other.
Results was finally haidar hits the heights he well desserved with an astonishing G.P of 3.66 which makes his CGPA to be 2.99 he was not at ease still but knows that hes on the way to be much better.
Haidar is finally knowing what it takes to be a man by knowing the best decisions and also knowing his flaws and being able to knows whats good and bad,he is still a boy by age but inside him he knows he is a man.
Haidar and haidar continue to meet untill she left for kaduna which haidar missed her so much.
Haidar was back in school for registration as an NDII student,not knowing that there is a whole new life ahead of him due to the new students tat got admission in the department...
