MOVING ON

HAIDAR begin a new chapter of life without saratu and Abdulmalik.
Haidar and Fidelis created a new cliq in other to fill the void left by Abdulmalik,by inviting people like Khalid,chukwujekwu,Daniel,Bishir,veronica,Aysha,Suleiman and Lawal a newcomer that joined the school in SS1 and he was also Haidar,s former primary school mate,and so without so much time wasting they got along.
Their friendship began to thrive in the eyes of many students.
Lawal also turn out to be to be a film addict which please haidar and fidelis.
Haidar,s new addiction of lollipop was getting more serious everyday,Everymorning he will bring morethan ten lollipops and drink almost six by himself.
With people seeing him doing that ,they thought it was a new swag due to the popularity of haidar,soon lollipop become an instant hit at memorial school.
One teacher who did not take the trend lightly due to the serious health concern,cautioned haidar to stop that,he did not stop which lead to her asking him that everymorning he comes to school he should report to her first so that she will search him.
Haidar was still the shining star of his class,due to his looks,sense of dressing,attitude and him being the captain of the class.
Haidar and saratu have not spoke since the day she left,even during holidays none of them try calling.
Haidar soon forgot saratu,eventhough he is not dating anyone but he felt that his life is even more free than before.
This is a lie haidar told himself inother tp forget her completely in his life.
Back home during holidays ,haidar and his friends Abba,Al-bash and Saifullahi were all inthe same islamiyya school and same class.
There is this girl called Maryam in the school which was Saifullahi,s friend at that time they get allong so well.
She just finished her JSCE and luckily she is coming to memorial school the next year saifullahi told Haidar that,So as haidar hear the news he told saifullahi that he should help him get along with her so that they can be friends before she  start coming to school which he did.
They start as normal friends ,they always talk when islamiyya close on there way home,what make them talk much was the release of two seasonal films Merlin and legend of the seeker in the year 2010.
With maryam prefering Legend of the seeker over Merlin while Haidar,s favourite series at that time was merlin.
Haidar,s mum was leaving for Saudi Arabia in other to perform her pilgrimage that month.Haidar was thinking so he and his siblings will spend sallah without their mum for the first time in their life,but much to their relief they had their step mum with them and their father so the impact was not much.
His mum soon left for mecca,after saying their farewells haidar cried much losing his mum for that time,she told him to be careful with his medications and be a goodboy to his stepmum.
Haidars stomach ache start to get worse when his mum left which resulted to him missing school for the much part of the term,soon exams time was looming near while haidar is still not stable,but he toom the exams like that finishing with the lowest position of his life thats 14th.
His dad being a gentleman urges him to comeback stronger.
Haidar is still without a girlfriend but it is clear to his friends that him and maryam are not just friends they are slowly developing much interest in each other.
Anytime Abba tells Haidar that you like maryam he will always deny it,but anytime he heard other people talking about her he got increasingly jealous.
Haidar,s mum was soon back from mecca after succesfully finishing her pilgrimage well.
She always knows what her son wants that is always being the best or the spotlight among his peers.
She bought him a nokia 3110 java phone which at that time is the samsung galaxy of the present time we are now.
Haidar,s phone has application which allows him to download many games in his phone,gaining his friends attention whenever he is with them ,everybody wants to hold the phone.
Anytime haidar is going to play football there are more than 5-6 people queing up inother to be able to hold his phone for him before he finished playing ball.
Haidar was growing into a young man the way his mum wish her son to be.
Haidar has height and light skin just like his mum.Haidar was a mixture of fulani and Kanuri,his grandmum is a fulani from gombe state while his dad is from Lafia,nasarawa state.
Sometimes some people use to say Haidar is a complete fulani boy because of his height,pointed nose and skin colour,haidar is also not that fat nor thin he is just in the middle.
Maryam soon join memorial school and she was haidar,s juniour but they got along so well in school,which made her an instant hit in ashort timr in school because of her enrolment with haidar and his cliq.
They come to school together because the leave in the same area,after school hours the walk together by trekking to home,They always enjoy the company of each other but remember they are not in love.
Scan revealed that haidar has kidney problem with the doctor showing his Dad and Mum who couldnt believe the news they heard,that his left kidney has problem.
Haidar was placed on medication for the time being,with the doctor suggesting if the drugs do not work,haidar has to undergo surgery.His mum wept bitterly by the news thinking shes goin to lose her son.The doctor told Haidar that he should stop playing football or any thing that will make him tired.The news about him to stop playing football make haidar so Sad but he will stop,wouldnt he?
  So can Haidar Finally avoid surgery or not?Will his Kidney be cured or not?
And will maryam Finally be able to fill the void left by saratu in his heart.
