Sherlock's POV
"I'm still so happy you didn't die, even though it heartbroke me, but you came back." John randomly said one night.
"It's been 7 years,babe, we havent spoken about this in ages, why are you bringing this back up now?" I Replied.
"Well if you had actually died, my heart would've broken even more and I wouldn't be able to do this" John insists as he gets down on one knee as he asks the question "Will you marry me?"
I stood-speechless- before replying with a highly cringy "Yes, yes, yes, of course you bloody idiot, yes. I love you!"
"And... that was how your father asked me to marry him Harper"
"Yes I know daddy you've said it enough and you pretty much tell everyone anyways"
"Enough of that cheek missy" I told our lovely but very cheeky daughter. I turned to see John walking into our beautiful daughter's room.
I glanced at him as he spotted me and Harper having our little one to one. He sort of interupted when he said
"Sorry to ruin the fun, but I have some bad news..."
