"Don't be jealous, honey. It doesn't look good on you." I said, pulling Justin's burning gaze of hatred away from the scene before him. Cameron had Sheba hoisted on his hip while he chatted with Merissa.

"I'm not jealous." He huffed and I gave him a look.

"Yeah, okay, but you're not paying attention." I gestured to his horribly buttoned shirt and he swatted my hands away.

"You were distracting me."

"Oh, really?"

I put my hand on my hip and he cupped my cheeks, kissing me softly. "Yes."

I giggled, turning into putty under his gaze and he smiled.

"Ew!" Merissa exclaimed, closing her eyes.

"They're so gross." Cameron whispered to her and she giggled.

"Aren't you supposed to be getting ready for school?" I said tilting my head at her.

"But-"

"Go get ready." I spoke in a tone that left no room for argument.

Once she was upstairs, I turned to Justin and poked him in his chest with his finger. "You need to get ready, too."

He rolled his eyes. "I am."

"Not fast enough." I shooed him away to the bathroom and I walked over to Cameron with an exasperated sigh.

"Oh, am I in trouble, mama bear?" He teased.

I glared at him and took Sheba out of his arms. "Shut up and never call me that again."

"Aw, but you love me..." He said puffing out his bottom lip.

I rolled my eyes. "What are you here for Cameron?"

"I just wanted to spend time with my favorite girls," He paused for a moment. "Yeah, that's about it."

"What about Justin?" I raised an eyebrow and he met me with a blank stare.

"What about him?"

I snorted and bounced Sheba as she began to mumble incoherent words. "If you're up for babysitting while I get a nap in then I'm down."

Justin came out of the bathroom and shook his head. "There is no way that I'm trusting him with our baby."

I looked at him disbelievingly. "You almost trusted Drew with our baby."

"Well, at least, Drew is my friend." He hissed.

Cameron glared. "I don't like you, either, so fuck off."

I kicked Cameron in his shin and he yelped then pinched Justin's arm. "Can we not argue and cuss in front of Sheba? You're both irritating me so either you shut up or get out."

Justin huffed, muttering something that sounded like 'hypocrite' and went upstairs while Cameron grimaced at me from his crouch. "Thanks a lot."

"You're lucky I didn't punch you." I narrowed my eyes at him and he put his hands up in surrender.

"I'm sorry, I'm sorry. But I would love to babysit for you." He said, getting up and pinching Sheba's cheek. She scrunched her face up adorably and buried her face into my chest.

"Awww," Cameron and I cooed at her.

I kissed her temple and turned to Cameron. "She's a hassle but if she's asleep by the time Justin and Merissa leave, she'll be fine. Would you mind going grocery shopping for me, too?"

He sighed. "What do I need to buy?"

I smiled gratefully. "I'll give you the list."

Merissa came back down the stairs with her backpack and skipping over to the couch, plopping down on it. I placed Sheba in her walker and went to grab a brush, including some accessories. I came back and proceeded to brush Merissa's hair into a simple high ponytail, slipping some studded diamond earrings into her ears.

Justin came out of the bathroom looking in order for once this morning and kissed me on the cheek. "Are you ready to go, Merissa?"

"Yeah!" She chirped and grabbed her book bag off of the couch. She kissed Sheba and I on our cheeks and then gave Cameron a hug, soon placing herself by Justin's side.

"Have fun, sweetheart! Make sure to get to breakfast on time and-" I rambled and Merissa cut me off, smiling.

"I know." I sighed and watched as Justin walked over to Sheba, placing a kiss on her forehead to which she smiled adorably at.

"See you later." Justin said, giving me a chaste kiss and walked out of the door with Merissa in tow.

After the door shut, silence returned to the house and I sighed in relief. Cameron clicked his tongue and sat down on the couch with a huff. "So, what are we going to do now?"

"I'm," I paused, grabbing a blanket from nearby and sat down on the couch, throwing my legs on his lap. "...going to go to sleep because this full time mom is running on fumes and you're going to babysit."

I draped the blanket over my body and got comfortable on the couch pillow. I watched Sheba play with Cameron's fingers for a moment before I closed my eyes. Ah, the sweet embrace of-

I jumped at the sound of my phone ringing and groaned into the pillow which soon trailed off into a pitiful sob.

"I can go get it for you if-" Cameron started.

"No," I said abruptly. I inhaled deeply and sat up. "I've got it."

I slowly got up and trudged over to my phone in the kitchen. I picked it up without even glancing at it. "Hello, tired mom hotline. How may I help you?"

"Destiny!!!" Chris shouted into the phone and I smiled tiredly.

"Hey, Chris. What's up?"

"We set a date!" He yelled.

"A date?" I mumbled into the phone.

"For our wedding! Orlan and I are getting married!"

"Oh," My eyes widened considerably. "Oh m- oh my god, Chris, that's great. Congratulations!!!"

"Destiny, I was thinking Merissa could be our flower girl. As cute as they are, Taylor and Sheba are too little."

"Ah, that sounds great. I haven't seen Taylor in so long. I miss her." I pouted slightly at not seeing my goddaughter.

"We went to go see her last weekend and Izzy put on a few pounds but it truly fits her. She used to be so skinny. Her husband doesn't seem to mind, though." Chris chuckled and I snorted.

"Can't keep his hands off of her, huh?"

"Not much more than when she was skinny. Might have another baby on the way if they keep it up."

I hummed. "I wish I could come see you all a lot more. Money is tight right now and all of it is going to the bills, groceries, gas, and the kids."

"Yeah, we miss all of you." Chris spoke solemnly.

"I know," My lips twitched upwards at the thought of an reunion. "You were saying something about the date of your wedding. When is the big day?"

"September 28th! We want a fall wedding."

"Oh, that's so cute." I gushed with him.

Cameron came into the kitchen with Sheba fast asleep in his arms. "You need to start taking care of yourself, Destiny. You sounded so exhausted when you answered the phone. I nearly felt bad for a moment."

Cameron sat down in the chair next to me and placed Sheba's bottle on the table, making me nod gratefully at him. "I haven't got much sleep lately but Cameron said he would go shopping for me and babysit while I stuck a few hours in."

"Cameron's there?!"

"Yeah."

"Put it him on the phone!"

I raised an eyebrow at Cameron and pulled the phone away from my ear so I could give it to him. He handed Sheba to me and I hushed her softly as she began to fuss. I made my way back to the couch and laid down, burying Sheba into my chest. I let my exhaustion catch up to me and willingly let my eyes close. Thankfully, sleep came peacefully.
