Chapter 10

Gabe and I continue to pack up our things when I got a text from Robbie.

"They have your uncle and they're going to stop this machine in Roxxon before they come home," I said.

I noticed that something was different in the air so I went to the door and saw a man in his mid to late 40s standing there with the exact outfit of the Good Samaritan from the crash.

"Wow, you look so much like your mother but with my lips, eyebrows, and serious face," he said.

"Daddy?" I nearly cried.

"So, this is where you live?" Dad asked.

"Wait, you're Ghost Rider?" Gabe asked.

"The First in the Modern World though Ghost Rider has existed for centuries whether you believe it or not," he explained.

"Before we talk about Ghost Rider, how did you find me exactly?" I asked.

"I talked with the Perezes who took you in," Dad said.

"You were there the entire time yet you never came back for me.....why???" I asked.

"I was afraid," he said.

"Of what?" I asked.

"Losing you to this monster I have inside me.....I can't give you this burden especially after your mother....."

"What about mom?"

"Your mom loved us.....she even accepted the Ghost Rider living in me," Dad said.

"Who killed mom?" I asked.

"Black Rose who was once my first love, Roxanne Simpson.....she was trying to kill you but you were too strong especially within a pure woman like your mother," he said.

"Mom would've wanted us to be together again as a family.....and I forgive you and mom for letting me go," I smiled with tears.

I hugged him and he stayed with Gabe while I got food for the three of us.

"If your mom was here, she would totally be upset that your cravings are similar to mine," Dad said.

"My mom would get upset too when I eat Thai food," I said.

"She goes there most of the time with my brother, Robbie," Gabe added.

"Where is Mr. Reyes anyways?" Dad asked.

"S.H.I.E.L.D. happened to be in LA so now he's trying to get them off his ass since they're trying to send him to prison and put me in a Inhuman Protection Program," I answered.

"Hell no, I let the system take you once.....they're not taking you from me again," he said.

"They want to force Echo into the Inhuman Registration but there's people called WatchDogs who kill Inhumans like her," Gabe explained.

"So, my daughter's Inhuman.....I guess you got it from your mother's bloodline," Dad sighed.

"Yeah, she would've had powers too," I said.

"She's in heaven now with your late brother, watching over me and you," he said.

"Let me text Robbie.....he should've been here by now," I said.

I texted him but there was no answer from him so I called and Eli answered.

"Hey princessa, Robbie's busy right now but I can tell him what you wanted," Eli said.

"Oh, tell Robbie that I finally found my father," I said.

"He told me about that during one of his Christmas visits.....I'll tell him right away, I promise," he said.

"Thank you and Gabe says hi by the way," I said cheerfully.

I hanged up and continued to spend some time with my dad. I grabbed something to drink for my dad as I overheard Gabe talking to him.

"Thank you for saving our lives," Gabe said.

"I was only fulfilling your brother's wish to become Ghost Rider," Dad said humbly.

"I know but you could've left me and my brother to die and save only Isabella," Gabe added.

"She cares for the both of you.....the Ghost Rider protects its family and those who are worth saving," Dad said.

"Was that you telling me to survive?" I asked.

I gave him a beer and all he gave was a smirk.

"You were there," I said.

"I only wanted to see my little girl and make sure she lives long enough to have a life," he said.

"I heard you......the next thing that happened was that I woke up," I said.

"Because you're my little girl," Dad smirked.

Mack called my phone to tell me something important.

"What's up, Mack?" I asked.

"We got a problem and it involves Robbie and his uncle Eli," Mack said.

I looked at my dad then at Gabe so he knew something was going on.

(I chose Norman Reedus cause honestly, he could do it at some point in the future)
