Chapter 15

"Robbie, look!" Mack said.

They saw the cold mists going through her hands and Robbie took the spear out.

"Oh my god......she's alive," Daisy said.

Echo moved her head and took a deep breath once she opens her eyes.

"Echo........you're alive," Robbie said.

Robbie and Daisy slowly helped her up and Echo looked for her dad. She quickly hugs him and stays there for a while, knowing that her birth father is the only family she has left in this world.

-Echo Perez-

"How am I alive?" I asked.

"You tell us......I mean you've loss alot of blood," Daisy said.

"Eli said he wanted something and it's wasn't just my blood," I said.

"We'll find out when we kick his ass," May smirked.

Ice Queen arise and protect your ally

"Robbie.......Run!" I shouted.

I attacked them and froze the whole place as I was off to protect Eli. I tried to fight back but I couldn't especially when Robbie came in and Eli kept hurting him.

"Robbie!"

I made an icicle with my hand but I couldn't move and Eli took it from me.

"You're fighting back the carbon I stabbed you with," he chuckled.

"What did you do to Echo?!"

"Simple, I didn't want to kill Echo......the Darkhold showed me a beautiful future that she will have with the powers she holds," Eli said.

"No......please stop saying that," I snapped.

"There it is......the rage, the cold hearted monster," He said.

"Leave her alone, tio!" Robbie demanded.

"The Darkhold knows everything and trust me when I say that you will be a blessing for everyone," Eli said.

I had tears falling down my face and Robbie was getting more upset as he saw me cry. Then, I heard Coulson come inside and it gave me time to break down the carbon. Once I broke free from Eli's control, I entered the machine and I felt like my mind was being shredded apart but I held on.

"Echo, you need to go before this thing goes off," Robbie said.

"I can't lose you again," I cried.

"I'll always be with you baby," he said.

"I can't.......I can't let you go again," I choked up.

"I'm coming back for you.......I'll always come back for you," Robbie chuckled.

I kissed Robbie one last time before Coulson pulled me out instead of me and Robbie. Suddenly, he was gone again as I cried again but with Coulson and the gang comforting me.

"I know Robbie enough to know that he'll go through hell for you......I mean it literally," Coulson said.

"Thank you Coulson," I smiled.

I went to hang with Gabe as we process Robbie's 'death' and he went to bed. I went to Robbie's room, sat on his bed and looked around when I wore one of his shirts.

"Good night Robbie......I'm gonna bring you home soon and that's a promise," I sighed.

I went to bed with my eyes becoming heavy and something was different.

-Weeks Later-

I woke up to check on Gabe so I could drive him to school and I got a call from Daisy about her wanting to chat with me.

"Hey, what's up?" I smiled.

"I wanted to check on you and how you're handling this whole thing with Robbie," she said.

"Thanks.......well, my dad is staying longer since I have no idea what's next for me," I chuckled.

"Don't worry......I'm sure that-"

Daisy was looking at me strangely and she gave me a mirror as I saw myself, with silver eyes so we left the place to check what's wrong with me.

"That's quite strange but maybe your powers are doing this for you to relax," Simmons said.

"I guess so but how could I-"

I felt heaviness hit me like a brick as I pass out right away.

-Outside-

"Oh bloody hell......is she alright?" Simmons asked.

"She's alive but her pulse is slow," Daisy said.

They took Echo to the Med Bay area so they could figure out what happened as Coulson came in with Mack.

"It seems as if she's evolving," Fitz said.

"I didn't think that's even possible for Inhumans," Coulson said.

"Whatever Eli did to her, must've accelerated the process that she's been slowly developing for the pass months," Simmons said.

"You mean like what I did absorbing the earthquakes Eli Morrow was creating?" Daisy questioned.

"Exactly but for Echo, she's been forced into this process right away therefore it's like her being in a cocoon again," Fitz said.

Gabe was there to check on Echo when her body was simply covered in ice.

"What the hell just happened?" Gabe asked.

"Echo is being reborn to probably become the most powerful Inhumans we've seen so far," Daisy answered.

"Robbie is gonna be pissed if he finds her like this," he sighed.

"This is only the beginning," Mack said.
