Episode 16

MARI'S POV

I once again woke up in the hospital, I was being treated for- I assume my wrists.
I sit up in a shock before I loudly groan, and plant my face in my hands.
I start to sob, as the memories flood back to me.
Watching all life slip from Wes's eyes as he gazed at me whilst lying in Flitz's arms.
I wipe my face as I throw my hand into the Nurse's buzzer button thing and a few moments later a Nurse comes in.
"Hello Mari" Nurse Marti walks in.
"Hey!" I exclaim. She looks down, "I'll go get your friends" she said.
I just nod, as she leaves.
I feel my heart pounding, I need to know if Wes is okay, it's like his voice is pounding in the back of my mind.
Flitz and Sohinki walked in, they didn't look to Happy, Flitz still being covered in Wes's blood.
"Well, we can celebrate over the death of Johna" he huffs.
"What about Wes." I deman.
They look at each other with sad faces.
"He's been in surgery for the past four hours" Sohinki replies "we have no good or bad news on him."
"How's Lasercorn?" I ask as I feel tears roll down my face again trying to avoid talking about Wes.
Flitz came over and sat beside me, he hugged me tightly "Wes has been stabbed and shot before, he's a big kid." Flitz whispered as I burst into tears in his arms.
"Butt!" Sohinki exclaimed before peering out the door.
"Lasercorn got out two hours ago" Lasercorn exclaimed rolling in the room in a wheelchair, he wheeled himself next to my bed and put his hand on my arm.
I smiled but I couldn't stop crying.
Nurse Marti came back in, "I've called both of yours and Wes's family member and told them what's happened." She nodded carefully before leaving the room, Sohinki went after her.
I rested on Flitz continuing to bawl my eyes out.

SOHINKI'S POV

Mari was crying into Flitz arms, just as Nurse Marti came in to tell us she's called their families.
As she leaves I chase after her.
Ms Marti! I called as she turned around "my names Ella." She muttered, by time I caught up to her I huffed "oh. Okay, Ella" I took in a deep breath before I stood up
"How's Wes looking?" I asked.
She gave me a concerned look.
"Not too good, his lung collapsed in the time it took for the ambulance to reach, I don't think we can save it." She looked down "and since he's and Asthmatic it won't be good."
I felt an aching pain in my chest, I knew it was grief.
I felt a longing pain hit me back.
"I'll" I hesitate "I'll go tell the others" i looked at my feet before walking towards Mari's room.
I heard her sobbing "please please can he get through this" she exclaimed into Flitz's arm. I couldn't go in there and tell her.

I went straight into the waiting room where I saw Joven, Anthony and Ian waiting.
"How's he looking? How's Mari" Joven called "not good." I murmured
"Both of them?" Ian asked
"Mari is a mess and Wes.. May not recover" I exclaimed angrily.
"Why must this always happen" I stomped before storming out.
Yes, I planned to walk all the way back to the cabin.

ANTHONY'S POV

Sohinki just stormed out, I went to go after him but Ian stopped me.
"Let him go, he needs his space" Ian exclaimed.
I sighed, just as the Nurse walked in "Courtney is ready to have visitors" she said, I jumped out of my chair and walked closely by the nurse
"She was fine when I found her, why did I have to wait so long?" I asked the nurse.
"She had a long cut on her stomach, it became infected quickly." She exclaims.
"How's the baby?" I asked
The nurse looked at me weirdly.
"What Baby?" She replied.
I felt my legs turn to stone and my heart fall to my stomach.
We finally arrived at her room, I Bursted in and hugged her.
She was crying, admittedly so was I.
I thought we lost all hope at being parents, not long after the nurse came in with doctors telling me to leave immediately, I back up confused as doctors and nurses swarm into the room forcing me out.
"Anthony?" She called as I was pushed outside.
They grabbed her bed and wheeled her out.
I fell onto the wall, I had given up. Officially. When suddenly I hear crying from a few doors back, I head in to see Mari crying.
I walk in and sit beside her and Lasercorn.
I hug her and Flitz, as my mind takes me back almost two months ago, to when Courtney had announced us dating, on our eight month Anniversary, the same day Wes and Mari told everybody about them.
Courtney and I hugged them as the room stood up and followed they hugged us all..
The last moment I remember all of us being truly happy... To think how it wasn't that long ago but seems so far away, I feel like we shall never feel that kind of genuine happiness ever again.
Tears continue to fall from my eyes as I hug Mari.
"I'm sorry." I whispered.
