The Unexcprted Truth

"Okay come one get I the car so I can start explaining this to you guys"

Ms Klane told us as she herded us to her car.

After she unlocked the doors I climbed in the backseat next to Chris, I began to fumble with my seatbelt. I was to anxious and my hands were just unable to buckle it together, then Chris grabbed my seatbelt and quickly buckled it for me giving me a large smile.

"Okay now I know you guys are probably really nervous right now," Ms. Klane began whilst starting up her car, "but allow me to explain what I can before you guys as me questions"

After she started up the car she pulled out of the schools parking lot and began to drive on the road.

"We'll there's really no other way to tell you guys this but you guys are demigods, as in children of the Greek gods, my so unfortunately being a demigod isn't all fun and games since there are monsters like that Dracaenae you saw that want to kill you-"

"Drac-whatever you said, what is that?" Chris interrupted her with a dumbfound expression

"Well it's called a Dracaenae" she continued, "and it was that snake lady that jut Reyes killing us, but there's even scarier monsters out their"

"So these monsters are out their in the wild and regular people don't notice then at all?" I asked her

"We'll if you guys would let me finish I would get to that, there's this force called The Mist which acts like a veil and hides everything in the godly world from regular mortals causing then to see it as something that would make sense to them, anything else I need to tell you? We'll I guess not that's really the gist of it"

"Okay so now can we ask you questions?" I asked her impatiently

"Yeah go ahead and shoot, I'll try to answer the question to the best of my ability"

"So every single monster we see out there is going to try to kill us no matter what?"

"We'll not really there are some monsters that are friendly like pegasuses and plenty others"

"Next question, what are we gonna tell our parents? I mean they're gonna worry about where we are"

"Ah don't worry when we get to our destination we'll contact your parents, they were to expect this to happen eventually, it happens to very demigod at some poi-"

"Wait how do you tie into all of this god stuff? How do we know we can even trust you?" Chris snapped at Ms. Klane, "how do we know you aren't some monster trying to gain out trust to end up killing us?"

He had been so quiet the whole ride it startled me a little, and what he said was so out of wack it didn't make any sense, Ms. Klane had just saved us and he was questioning wether we could trust her or not.

"Ah you bring up quite a point they're Chris, well first I tie into this whole God world fiasco because I'm a demigod just like you guys and if I were a monster don't you guys think I would have already are you guys?" she wistfully answered back

"Well then why the hell are you even trying to save us and where exactly are you trying to bring us?"

"We'll I'm saving you guys because it's my job to make sure that demigods like you guys are brought to Camp Half-Blood so that you guys can be trained to fight monsters and understand the world of the gods in depth"

I must have been going crazy, my history teacher had just abducted me and my best freind and was telling that we had the blood of the Greek gods inside of us. I'm pretty sure that she was going crazy or something, but something inside me nagged me so I didn't question it.

"We'll it's gonna be a real long ride were probably gonna get there around sunset" Ms. Klane told us nonchalantly. "So you guys can rest a little if you want, you've probably had a long day"

I decided to take a nap I rested my head on Chris' shoulder which he didn't show any sign that he minded. I started thinking about the gods actually existing and how this was probably just a big hoax or something. Eventually my eyelids began to get heavy and I eventually drifted to sleep.

Suddenly I was woken up by a sudden force that had shove me to the side. As soon as I regained consciousness I realized that the car had been pushed from the side.

"GET OUT OF THE CAR RIGHT NOW" Ms. Klane yelled all of a sudden, "EXIT FROM THE LEFT SIDE IF YOU WANT TO STAY ALIVE"

I began to unbuckle my seatbelt and asked her what was going on.

After me and Chris exited the car it was suddenly shoved again and almost tipped over on top of us.

"Come over her we need to get to the forest line and we should be a bit safer" Ms. Klane herded me and Chris to some trees right next to the dirt path the car was on.

I looked back and saw the most horrifying sight, I saw a snake that was attacking the car. We'll snake doesn't really cover it, the creature was about 20 feet long and was about 7 feet tall, it had about 100 teeth that all looked as if they had just been sharpened. But it's eyes were the worst, the snake'a eyes were an intense shade of light purple, when I made eye contact with it goosebumps appeared all over my arms.

As I held eye contact with it I just stood there looking at it until it began charging at me as Ms. Klane began to pull me by the arm.

Once we made t to the tree line we ran about 30 feet until we couldn't see the dirt path anymore. We crouched behind some bushes to catch our breath.

"What on earth was that thing?" Chris demanded

"Keep your voice down" she whispered back, "that was a drakon and unfortunately it wants to kill us".
