Ivy's POV
No. He can't be. I swore I wouldn't find my 'mate'. And now he's staring right at me. He looked different to before. The wimpy ass kid I used to know has grown into a full on muscle machine, I could see his pulse through his skin. His blood calling me in. But I wouldn't let that change anything. He. Was. Not. My. Mate.
"So... Bye" I said as I turned and walked off. Leaving all of the boys confused behind me as I walked towards my schools main building. And I know what your thinking, this is another typical love story where they find out they where meant for each other in school and stayed together since and all that other bullshit. But this is not that story. Yes I'm aware you've already read the other 3 parts to this but trust me. My love is not going onto Liam. He was like a brother to me, it would be weird. (A/N Ivy can break the forth wall, just incase you don't know what that is she will speak to the reader as well as other characters and most of this chapter will be a forth wall break because it's something I've never done before and I want to see how it goes)
My life had gotten so weird within 20 minutes, I saw him, he didn't see me. He came over, he was different, and for some reason he's now supposedly mine. I was hunting the building for my best friend Nala, she was a lion shifter. Basically like a werewolf but she was a badass lion instead. I have my own nickname for her, she is my Pet Lion. She was sat with her boyfriend, human but cute. Her long deep red hair covered most of her back as I approached she swooped it to her side and turned... I need to work on my stealth.
"Ivy... what's wrong with you?" Nala said as soon as she saw me. I think I had turned more pale because of a stupid dog. I shouldn't say that, my brother is a stupid dog... then again... yeah, stupid dog sounds good.
"Dogs are everywhere and I am wanting to be alone forever at this moment in time but all this fate shit has caused that to become a different story" I replied as I pulled another cigarette out of the packet and lit it.
"Oh, what's the deal with that then?" she asked, I hated when she would bombard me with questions.
"One word. Liam" and she instantly knew what was going on. I had told her about Liam, she had met him a few times too. We where all really close when we was kids but Nala wasn't aloud to see us very often because she had to look after her pride with her dad. He was also, you guessed it, a badass lion.
I sat down next to her, thinking about what had caused my life to get strange in that little of time. Nothing came to my head, so I let the nicotine rush into my brain instead, numbing my stress for a few minutes as it did so. I hated every minute of my existence as of now. I was having a pretty decent day until he showed up. Prick.
Liam's POV
What was that about? I thought to myself as she walked away, I had the urge to follow her but I didn't really want to have my genitalia ripped from my body and threw across the school. I shuddered at that thought. I did not want to lose my manhood.
"That was weird" Diesel said as he shrugged his shoulders and placed himself next to the tree Ivy was sat with only five minutes before.
"I know, must have been a shock" I said, still not knowing why she left. She just looked me up and down and then left. "You know why" my wolf said inside my brain. I didn't. She looked like the same girl to me, but her hair had gotten longer and her eyes had gotten brighter. Her scent of green apples and cinnamon still filled my nose. I loved it. Always had. Always will.
"I think I'm just going to bail the rest of the day... I need to talk to my mom" I said, still looking towards the direction she left in. I was so confused. My wolf knew something I didn't and it was getting to me, I had to figure out why and my mother is the best person to ask. I started walking towards the main office to give an excuse, sign out and go home to ask my mom about the thousands of questions currently running through my head.
I hate not knowing things.
