Decebel let go of my arm as we walked through the doors of our year 10 maths class.

" ah, Miss Stone. Glad to meet you. I'm Mr Devers." My bald teacher said over enthusiastically. " there's a spot for you next to Mr Bacillus, who I see you have already met." I made my way to the back next to Decebel with few sniggers. Maths, as usual, dragged on. As the bell went, students piled out the door faster the Usain Bolt.

" Whatcha got now?" I asked, though I already knew.

" science, you?"

" same!"

He chuckled " your about to meet the teacher all the girls go crazy over."

Mr Sundberg, though he insisted everyone call him Anders, was definitely hot. With sun bleached golden hair and a perfect tan he was your typical surfer dude.

" hi Anders." A girl in front of me battered her eye lashes at him.

" Madi." He smiled. Obviously he was used to this reaction from girls. He grinned when he saw me

" hey! Your the new girl aren't you! Ah.... Atlantis?"

" Atlanta" I corrected him.

" knew it was something like that. I'm Anders. Sit wherever you want." I noticed Decebel waving to me up the back. He was sitting with to Drew and girl with straight brown hair. I sat down next to him.

" this is Raven." He whispered to me. She smiled at me. I started talking but got cut off when Anders started explaining our experiment, how is rubber effected by heat. Decebel offered to be my partner. Second bell went and everyone filed out the door, the girls not forgetting to say goodbye to Anders. I grabbed some money to go to the canteen but Decebel dragged me the other way.

" you have to meet the others!"

" others?" I questioned

" yeah! Ava and Levi!" He directed me through the yards and up to the oval where a group of 5 kids where sitting on the outskirts. They waved as we approached.

" Decebelllllll!" Drew yelled. " what too you so long?"

" had to wait for miss slow coach here."

" hey. I sacrificed my lunch for this!" I protested.

" do even know where the canteen is?" Decebel raised an eyebrow.

" well, no. But I would of found it."

" who's your girlfriend Decebel?" The boy I assumed was Levi asked.

" she's not my girlfriend." He spat " her names Atlanta."

" yeah but it's obvious you like her." Raven said.

" as a friend yeah. But we only just met!"

" only one way to settle this!" The girl I thought was Ava yelled. " truth or dare!"

" I'll go first." Logan said " Atlanta, truth or dare?"

" dare." I choose

" I dare you to spin the bottle and kiss who it lands on." Raven handed me her empty Arizona ice tea bottle. It spun the gradually came to a stop on Logan.

" just what you wanted, right Logan?" Drew teased

" no!" He went bright red

" I'm pretty sure that's what you were telling me in English." Ava added.

" pucker up Atlanta." Decebel nudged me in the ribs. Logan and I lent in and shared a quick kiss, which I had to admit, was pretty good.

" truth or dare drew?" I asked

" truth."

" who would you rather go out with, Ava or raven?"

" aw!" He complained " I'll break a girls heart either way."

" don't worry drew. Mines made of steel." Raven teased.

" if I had to choose, Raven." He shot a 'I'm sorry' look at Ava.

" it's ok drew, I still love you." She gave him a peck on the check. My stomach choose that moment to make a very loud rumbling noise.

" seems my stomach isn't happy I got no food." I joked " someone mind showing me the canteen?"

" I'll go!" Ava offered " I'm dyeing for a Big M." She grabbed my hand and skipped down the hill. Supposing a didn't have a choice, skipped along with her.
