Giggling happily, Olympia ran towards the entrance to the haunted house. Otis desperately struggled to get out of her grasp. "Are you sure about this, Olympia? Can't we go into the anti-haunted house and face our least greatest fears?"

"Otis!" Olympia spun around, pretending to be shocked. "You said you'd do anything but the spinning teacups. And this is certainly not the spinning teacups. Therefore, you agreed to do it. Besides, the anti-haunted house would be boring. The fun is in being scared, Otis! The chills and thrills and shivers and screams and all sorts of other wonderful frights!"

She smiled brightly at her partner, who had gotten at least three shades paler. "It won't be that bad, I promise." Looking at her nervously, Otis finally gave in. "Fine, let's get this over with."

"Hello?" Olympia opened the door with a creak. Otis cautiously stepped in, glancing at the small empty room in front of them. The walls were bare, and a small cobweb was hanging on the corner. "All right, that was fun,now can we get out of here-" His words were interrupted by a large gust of wind, which whooshed through the entire house, slamming the door shut. Olympia tested it. "Locked."

"Oh no..." Otis looked around. "Hey, that piece of paper wasn't on the floor when we came in." Picking it up, he read it aloud. "If you want to get out, you have to find the key that we've hidden somewhere in the house. Happy hunting! Sincerely, Ms. O, Ms. O, and Mr. O. This was a really bad idea, Olympia."

"It was not!" Olympia smiled, obviously not worried at all. Sighing, Otis crumpled the paper into a ball and threw it towards the door. "Okay, if you were them, where would you hide the key?"

"Hmm..." Olympia turned, checking out every corner of the house. "Maybe somewhere on the second story?"

"What?" Otis did a double take. Looking at the palatial stairs in front of them, he gasped. Muttering, "This seems more like a fun house than a haunted house to me," he walked over and tested the stairs with his foot. They were creaky, but seemed solid enough. He looked at Olympia, who was already halfway up the stairs. "Come on, Otis!" Taking a deep breath, he quickly climbed the stairs.
