Olympia was curled up in a ball in the center of the room, sobbing. Otis slowly walked up to her. "Olympia?" She lifted her head, surprised. "Otis? But you- they- you-" She broke off, crying harder. Otis kneeled down. "What happened?"Olympia looked at him, eyes full of tears. "They- they- kidnapped you- and you- you- turned into- a villain- and then- Ms. O- fired me- and-"
Otis sighed. "Oh, Olympia, I'm so sorry. Come here." Olympia leaped into his waiting arms. "How-"
"It's a long story. But anyways, I'm fine, although I think I'm going insane." He looked up at the chandelier, who winked. Smiling, he turned back to her. "You ready to get out of here?" Olympia took a ragged breath, nodding. "Great. Here are your glasses." Gently positioning them on her face, he smiled. "I have a feeling the key's through that door."
The door gently creaked open. Otis stepped through, then gasped. "Ahhh! Ducks!" He quickly jumped back into the ballroom, glaring at the door. He heard quiet giggles coming from behind him, but he didn't mind. At least Olympia was happy. Sighing in exasperation, he opened the door again, looking around cautiously. "Much better. Thanks, Alice."
Olympia's jaw dropped. "How did you-" Otis shrugged, stepping into the new room. "I have connections."
Suddenly, they heard a rattling sound. Otis turned towards it, and his eye darted to a wooden trunk on the floor. "Interesting." Kneeling down, he turned the latch, then tried in vain to open it. Sighing, he repeated, " I haven't the slightest idea." Trying again, he opened it with ease. "Really. Don't ask, Olympia."
In the trunk, under a couple layers of white cloth, was a old golden key with an ornate design on the end. Otis smiled. "Come on, let's find the exit." Olympia nodded brightly. "Race you!"
