I jumped off my horse and stepped onto the gravel covered ground. It had been a long and tiring day to travel here, and I was exhausted. To make matters worse, I was wearing open-toed shoes at the time, and when my feet touched the ground, I had tiny grains of both sand and dirt in my toes. In case you didn't know already, having tiny rocks practically stab you in the bottom of your feet is not fun.
I need a drink. I thought to myself. It had been a while since I sat down and had a beer.
I looked around, trying to find a restaurant, or tavern, whatever really didn't matter.
How in the name of Irene are you supposed to navigate your way around this place?
After a while, I finally found one. A large wooden sign hung just above the door, and read the words, Brookside Tavern. I entered, and as soon as I did I immediately regretted it. I was met with cold eyes from all around the room. Hesitantly, I sat down at a table, trying to ignore the stares. Then, I heard a hand hit the table. I looked up, only to meet my eyes with a werewolf.
" Hey, ram! You're in my spot."
He gestured to my amber-colored horns, which indeed, did kind of look like a ram. Offended, I thought of a comeback.
" Well, it looks like I am in your spot. And I'm staying here. So if you're sad about it, why don't you go home to your mom, dog?"
He growled.
Looks like I made him mad. Good. He deserved it.
" Are you looking to pick a fight?" He asked, even more rage rising in his voice. At that moment, I was fed up with the situation. It was my turn to slam my hands on the table.
" Listen, I have had a long, and tiring day. Can you please just let me sit here? Besides, it's not like you actually own this seat." And you know what he did? He took my drink and poured it on my head. I knew that were wolfs were hot-tempered, but that was over the top. Without thinking, I slapped him across the face. The whole tavern went silent. I wasn't usually one for violence, but that slap felt like an entire mountain lifted off my shoulders.
It was then he snapped. I don't know what happened in between, but next thing I knew, we were fighting. He was on par with my skills, and I was on par with his. After a while we grew tired of fighting since we were both partially drunk and didn't have a lot of energy.
We were trying to catch our breath when I heard a click. The were wolf seemed to notice too. I looked behind me to see a guard, an O'kasis guard.
Shoot.
After looking at us, he spoke.
" As an O'kasis guard, I herby place you two under arrest for destroying public property."

Sorry this was so short. I'm at school eating lunch rn and I only have about 5 min. Also for once, I kept my promise! I told you that I would make this book!
