Chapter 9

After talking to Shinobu, I went straight to my "father's" office.I do not get what is the big deal of me not showing up to class.We were there for most of history and lived through it.Luckily, we had survive it all.I sigh as I walk up the steps.'One thing that came out of it was meeting Maori.She was a lot of fun to hang out with though she keeps flubbing my name.'i shook my head as I knock on the door."Come in," a voice answers.

As I open the door,  I see my "father" sitting comfortably as usual in that big ass chair."What?"I wanted to get back to my interrupted nap that escaped because of him letting Maori stay here. "How have you been,my son? "he asks as he stood up from his chair to stand near the window. "None of your business.What do you want?"

"First, why were you not attending class?This school was created so people like us could have a chance in life, "he asks with that fake sincerity that I notice by now. "That may work on Shigure,but not me,"I kick my feet on his desk which cause him to respond."Leave him alone, Azure."I look up to see Azure with his fingers aimed towards my heart with a face of pure anger. He stop and bow to him,"Yes,my lord,"he stand next to the wall waiting.The man who Shigure called father look at me,"Shigure told me you were with the "human"."The way he emphasize it was almost as if she wasnt,but she had to not be in order for her to get past the barrier.'

"That girl will destroy us all,"he spoke sternly.

"HA!The only thing the girl can destroy is a plate full of food,"I laughs as I got up to leave."You will understand why one day,"he tells me which made me wanna leave even more.

"Idiot...a human killing us?Especially someone in her situation,"I yawn and open the door to my room and close it behind me.I lay down on the bed and sigh.'It didn't make sense.Kinda missed mom in this respect,'I thought.She always knew what that man meant.I leaned to my mini-fridge next to my bed as I take a blood pack out.My fangs appears as I suck the blood out as it glisten in the moonlight.

My mother died few years before this school was created.She was killed by a werewolf from what that man said.Me and Shigure didn't find out until we return from feeding.

I look at the picture next to my bed side.Mom had silver hair when she was full out vamp.Her eyes were red no matter what.To me,she was the most beautiful person in the world and the kindest.I inherit her looks whenever i did the same. Shigure look more like our father then he dye his hair to look like that man.When I was human,my mom would always say I look like her brother.It is probably why me and shigure look different in both our looks and vamping.

"Moping around doesn't suit you,"a voice spoke up.I recognize that cheerful voice."Hey Saburo, how is it hanging?"I saw him floating into my room."Haha,you're a comedian,"he says with a smile.Saburo is known for his sick sense of humor and the fact he committed sucide by hanging. Nonetheless,he still lets me greet him in this way.He had widely unmanageable hair that was brown and eyes the same shade.He always floating to whoever room he please unless there was a shaman or psychic in the room or someone dangerous.He was also my roommate for this room since "he" wanted to be fair."What's the serious look for,bra?Life is alright as far as I'm concerned.Hahaha,"he poke my face,"Get it?Cuz we dead."As dry as the joke was,I still found myself laughing along with him.

He look at the time before rolling on his back, "Man,classes are so stupid.Don't we have a festival in a couple of months?"

"Triple Moon Festival.That's when everyone can let lose.Well that and gym which we all have tomorrow,"I remember as I throw away the blood pack and get another one.

"Hell yeah!Plus the girls will be dressed in those cute clothes,"he was all giggly while I just shook my head,"Even the infamous Shinobu will reveal that lovely ears and tail."I shakes my head,"Sadly,you can't touch,"I wrap my arm around his neck."He laughs,"If only my brother!Hahahaha!"We laugh again before I wipe my eyes."By the way, I hear we have a new student.Have you seen her?Is she cute?"he move all in front of my face as I laugh.'He's talking about Maori,'I chuckles. I told him all about how we met, and where I took her."Hmmm,maybe I can find her.Excuse me,"he phase past the wall before a manly scream was heard."Sorry!I didn't see anything!I was-ouch!"was all could be heard.I walk to the bathroom so I could take a shower and chill until tomorrow.
