Jonathan's face pales as Mrs.Rosie says he needs stitches

"st..st..iches" Jonathan stutters out.

"Yeah, why? Are you afraid?" I say and start laughing lightly as I look up from my phone.

"No way I can handle anything" Jonathan replies

"Well there's no need to be afraid sweetheart" Mrs. Rosie says

She leaves for a moment and then come backs with her kit. I stay in my chair and watch as she's taking everything out I see Jonathan's eyes go wide. Mrs. Rosie notices and looks at me indicating me to sit next to Jonathan. I give her a questioning look but either ways sit next to Jonathan. Jonathan looks at me and I just shrug.

"Lizzy I want you to comfort Jonathan or at least distract him because from his reaction he's giving it looks like he's going to pass out " She says chuckling

I take Jonathans hand and as soon as I do I see him blushing. Lol it's so cute.

"Sooooooooooooo....ooh.. Let's play 20 questions" I say

"Sure" Jonathan responds

"ok you go first"

"What is your favorite sport?"

"Probably basketball"

"Really you impress me I thought you would say something like "I Iike to go shopping or painting my nails"

I start laughing at that

"well no I actually like being active. Well now my turn umm what's your favorite type of book?"

"it's kinda embarrassing but I like romance "

"Your serious? I enjoy romance as well and you shouldn't be embarrassed about it ,its cute"

" ok well um what your favorite type of food?"

"To be honest I like spicy chicken wings and burgers, I could eat that any day what about you?"

" Impressing, I absolutely love Hawaiian pizza its delicious "

"Sorry to interrupt the conversation but I am done here and need you guys to go back to class" Mrs . Rosie says.

"Well that went fast and I didn't even feel anything"

"Yeah well we need to go back to class come on, bye Mrs. Rosie"

"Bye sweetheart be careful and come visit me "

Jonathan follows behind me as we walk in a comfortable silence back to class.

I stop once were in outside of the science door

"Look I know we just hanged out but this never happened alright? "

Jonathan looks up at me and just nods

I open the door to the class and see Mr. Franco teaching about the human body when he stops to looks at us both.

"Sorry for coming late but I had to take Jonathan this new student to the nurses office" I say

"Very well Ms. Rodriguez please go sit down. Jonathan welcome to the class you're free to pick where you want to sit "

I went to where Stephanie was sitting and sat next to her; she gave me back my book bag and gave me a look that indicates that I'll have to tell her everything later .

I just shrug and look outside the window outside.

I get a note from Samanta questioning why I looked so distracted.

"i'm fine I promise im just thinking"

"You sure"

"yeah don't worry" is say and give her a reassuring smile

"Alright then"

To be honest Jonathan makes me feel like I can be myself. He's different a good different. I would love to get to know him more but that would ruin my reputation and with that I would be my parents disappointment. I'm tired of my parents always putting pressure on me about having to be perfect.
