'Wait a minute, a what?' Cade asked, obviously dumbfounded.
'A robot.' Repeated Dylan. The four of them had gathered around the lounge area for a crew meeting. Richard and Dylan explained what happened and why the front of the ship looked like an elephant ran through it.
'So what else happened?' Doyle seemed disinterested in the topic, probably because he didn't witness the fighting scene or he was asleep during the only interesting thing that has happened so far. Or maybe both.
'Nothing else really,' answered Richard, his scar now with stitches and a bandage. 'We put the body in the lounge, next to the recreational room. I'll check it out later.'
'Aw man I wish I was there.' Doyle said under his breath.
'Ok well, let's hope nothing else like that happens again.' Clapped Dylan. 'Maybe the ride will go smoothly now.'
He said it in such a tone that probably twisted their fate. As if testing his luck and saying 'try me' with a smug, arrogant look. Maybe that's what caused the next thing to happen.

Darkness. The lights switched off immediately and the tinted windows shot up. Thus leaving the room pitch black.
'Uhh guys?' Cade spoke to the darkness. Waving his arm out trying to feel his way around.
'Yeah I'm here, what the hell happened?' Doyle said, seemingly from nowhere.
'Im here also.' Richard echoed.
'Guys... Shh.' Whispered Dylan. Although he couldn't see them, he could guess their location and talked in that direction.
'Wha-why do we have to be quiet?!' Doyle remarked.
'Shut up! Shut up!' Dylan said softly but in a commanding voice.
'Guys can't you hear it?!' Mumbled Richard, as he figured out why Dylan told them to be quiet. Silence, and then soft thumps like walking were audible.
'Guys where are you!' Whispered Cade.
'Cade shhh!' Murmured Dylan. The thumping got louder and felt closer, it was more like soft punches to the floor.
'Guys where are you!' Doyle insisted, this time not hesitating to be loud. The thumping slowly started getting faster and faster and then in the pitch black, two glowing red dots appeared. Staring straight at Doyle in the eyes.
'What the fu-' the red dots zoomed towards them.
'Everyone scatter!' Dylan shouted. It felt like chaos. Dylan sprinted to the right and went around the table separating him and the robot, he ran past behind the robot which had its back turned to him. He was about to shout to Richard and the crew where to rendezvous but then realised that the robot could understand what he was saying. Shit, he thought. He now only realised the mistake he had made. He just told everyone to scatter, and the robot obviously heard them and now, they have a highly dangerous thing hunting them down and he don't know where anyone is. Great, Dylan thought. Hopefully everyone could survive on their own, he felt Richard and Doyle run in the other direction as him but he didn't know where Cade went. Dylan decided it would be best to just hide for a bit until everyone was safe and contact each other using their comms, or at least Richard because as far as Dylan knows, he's the only other person who carries it on his person even while on the ship. He made his way around the back and sprinted towards the door that the robot seemingly came through.

Cade started sweating nervously, he didn't know why he wasn't moving. He had commanded every inch of his body to move but it wouldn't budge. He closed his eyes for a split second and opened them into bright red orbs staring straight into what felt like his soul. The robot felt like it was about an arms length away and he could feel his isolation. He was alone. He was definitely alone. No one else was talking and all he could hear was nothing but dead silence. The red eyes slowly started backing away. This was when Cade made a mistake that might have costed his life. He did what he had been trying to do for the last minute; He took a step back. He hit a chair and made a noise that echoed way too obviously. He instictively went down and immedietly rolled under the table. The robot turned back around and Cade could hear him. His eyes gradually adjusted to the dark. It was still pitch black but he could see slight outlines of things. He could see what seemed to be the legs of the robot walking around slowly. Cade thought he was safe. He wasn't. The robot suddenly came to a halt. Cades heart stopped. He had his hands clasped over his mouth and he was sweating like a mad man. He felt like he just had 3 energy drinks and andrenaline continued to pump through his body. He was breathing quite heavily but he hoped that his hand over his mouth was enough to cover the sound. The room was silent. Cade could hear his heart beating. The robot was still standing still in front of him. Then it slowly started kneeling down. Cade whimpered and the bot seemed to go down faster. They were eye level now. The beady red glow of the robot was staring directly Cade in the eyes. His heart ran and felt like it was about to burst. They kept their gaze for about half a minute and all Cade could do was pray. The robot just stayed there. He couldn't see but he imagined a horrific mix of wire and face behind the darkness. Suddenly the robot turned its head away, slowly standing up. The feeling of relief fell through Cade so quickly that he dropped his guard. The table flew up and smashed into the ceiling; exposing the now very vulnerable and off-guard Cade. And once again, the robot and Cade were looking at each other, but this time Cade felt the robots rage. He could see the outline of the robots hand. It was holding a broken peice of the table ig had 1 thrown to ceiling. As if it wanted to show off its strength. He felt like crying. He just survived a stare-off with a deadly machine and now he was going to die. End of the road, Cade thought. This is how im going to die, huh. Not very flashy. Suddenly without warning, a loud crashing noise came from the far left door. The robot immedietly lost interest in Cade, dropped the broken piece of table and dashed in the direction it came from. He took a moment to regain himself and to calm down. Wow, Cade thought. I actually didn't die. The true sense of relief came and he finally calmed. And when he concluded it was safe, or what you could consider safe in this situation. Cade decided to look for the others.
