We were halfway to the hotel when I dragged Simon into an alleyway and then pinned him to the wall,
"What are you doing?" Simon asked breathlessly.
"Did you really think I would let you back into the clan. After all you can stay with your girlfriend." I said sneering at him.
"You know full well that she is a Shadow hunter so thus I can't!" He shouted back at me flipping over so he was pinning me to the wall.
"If you ruin on more suit I swear I'll-" and to Raphael's surprise his reply was cut off by a pair of lips slamming urgently. Raphael stood still for a second before he melted into it and just as he was starting to get into it Simon suddenly shoved him off.
"Oh my God I should not have done that what will Izzy think? Clary is going to kill me." Simon whisper yelled his hands running through his hair.
"It's fine Simon I'm sure she'll understand if you tell her." Raphael tried to reason with him but Simon was not listening to him. He could see how torn he was so he put on a stoic front and said coldly to the fledgling.
"Leave now before I-" but he was again cut off not by a kiss but by Simon speaking.
"You'll what kill me? Well for your information I'm already a vampire so what can you do? Hm?" His voice a low venomous whisper as he set his now cold brown eyes on me. Suddenly it felt like I was being pulled back in time to when my father used to beat me behind my mother's back saying how I was useless and a coward. He was the reason I went to the hotel that fateful night. Simon must have seen the fear in my eyes as he let me go and I sank to the ground. Bloody tears streaked down my face as I was wrapped up in memories I would rather forget. I felt a pair of arms wrap around me pulling me close. I looked up to see Simon walking away and I was once again on my own. Feeling the arms still wrapped around me I saw what look to me like my mother and I once again felt alone.
