Drew's *POV*

I was walking home with my little sister, Ally, from school. The mailman was at the end of the street. That's when I realised. I may get that important letter today.

I jogged to the mailbox, leaving Ally with her headphones in walking alone.

"It's here." I whispered to myself.

The letter is from the U.S Military. I've always wanted to go a fight for my country. If I died, people would know I died trying.

Once I got in the house, Ally sat down on the couch. She didn't look too good.

"Hey you ok?" I slowly walked to her.

"No." She sniffed and wiped a tear off her face.

I gently sat down and held her in my arms.

"What's the matter?"

"My best friend committed suicide!" Her cries got longer, and soon she was shaking in my arms.

"Shhhh. Shhhh." I rubbed her back to let her know I was there.

"I loved her. She was like the sister I never had." She looked up at me with her crystal clear blue orbs.

"I know you did, what do you want to do you want to do just to get the pain out of your body?"

"I want to cut again." I froze. I didn't move a muscle.

"Anything but that, please?"

"I want to go to her house. I want to see her family, tell them I'm so sorry. And tell them why she did what she did." She calmed herself down by breathing.

"C'mon, let's go." I grabbed my jacket and put it on. It's only in the low 50's here in Sequim, Washington.

"Lead the way." I half smiled at her as I shut the door behind me. She walked down the street and stopped in front of a white small house, with a few patches of flowers here and there.

"Here." She slowly walked to the front door.

"Need me to knock?" She nodded.

"Hello Drew and Ally.."

"Hello Mrs. Dunners."

"Please call me Deborah, Drew." She smiled through the pain.

"Mrs. Dunners?" Ally spoke up.

"Yes dear?"

"Can we come in. It's about Lizzy...."

"Of course!" She quickly let us in. "Get comfortable on the couch, I'm going to get William!"

***************

"You know why she did this?" Kizzy's mom asked curiously.

"Yes...it's hard to say but it'll be worth it. She'll get justice." Ally smiled.

"So why'd she commit?" Liz's father asked.

"This boy..they dated for a little while. But things didn't work out, he stalked her here. And one night while she was getting dressed from a shower, he poked his phone in and took pictures. She didn't mean to have the window open. She had told me that. But he sent it to EVERYONE in school. And then people were sending her nasty, perverted, and horrible messages. She got death threats too. Nothing we did helped. She was thrown against lockers...." Ally let's a few tears fly before finishing. "She was hot around, and so many other things. All because of this boy."

"What's his name?" Liz's dad asked firmly standing by the phone.

"Lucas Oblin."

"Thank you." He replied.

"It's ok." I wrapped an arm around her. My right hand rubbed her right arm.

"Mrs. Dunners?" She whimpered out.

"Yes?" She snapped out of her thoughts.

"Can I go to Lizzy's room. Just one last time?"

"Of course." She smiled.

"I won't be long Drew...." She trailed off.

"So Drew, how's school?"

"It's getting hard. But it's life."

"There's something in you that has inspiration. I know it." I looked down at my hands. And chuckled lightly.

"Drew?" I looked up fast. Ally.

"Yeah?"

"Could we go home? It's emotional for me here..."

"Yeah, well it was great seeing you Deborah!" I hugged Liz's mom. "Nice seeing you William!" I shook hands with her dad, who was still on the phone with the police.

**************

It was dinner time. The time I'm bringing up, that I had gotten accepted for the military.

I sat next to Ally, who was on my left. Our mom was across from me.

"Umm mom?" I said after whipping my mouth with the napkin.

"Yes sweetie?" She looked up at me.

"I got accepted."

"Your going to go to war?!" Her eyes got big.

"Yeah..I'll fight for the whole country!" I'm not gonna lie, I was excited.

"This is great, but not!" She smiled sort of.

"What do you thi- where's Ally?" Mom looked around.

"I know." I excused myself from the table and snuck outside. There's a treehouse our dad made us when we were both younger.

"Ally?"

"What do you want?" She was in the corner with her knees supporting her head.

"Why'd you leave?" I sat by her, and wrapped my arm around her. Pulling her into my chest.

"My best friend died today! Now you're leaving! Is everyone I love and would die for leaving me!!!" She screamed loudly, which sent mom out.

"Ally you alright?"

"No mom!" She looked put the window with the tears streaming down her face, and came back to me. She buried her head into my chest.

Within a minutes mom came up here.

"Are you upset Drew's leaving?" Ally looked at her. Ally was only 17 and she was fragile to me, I'd protect with all my heart. She didn't know how long I'd be gone.

"One of the reasons."

"What's the other?"

"Lizzy killed herself." She went back into her corner crying her pretty eyes out.

"Oh god..." Mom placed her hand over her mouth.
