The light shone glamourously from afar. The sparkling rays made a path towards the light. I perched at my surroundings and realised I like standing in the middle of darkness. It scared me; and so I decided to follow the light. I've heard a saying once, that, if you followed towards the light, it meant that you were dead... So does it mean that I'm dead? What was the last that happened? Causing me to see this light? I remembered heat...my body was burning, heat was radiating from my body; as if I was on fire. I was scorching in the middle of my bathroom...and there was Luke who ran in and then...I blacked out. The light shone mre radiant as I neared what seemed to be the end. My arms came up to my forehead to block the light from my eyes but that did no help as I saw white; closing my eyes, Iforced myself to keep walking until I was embrace by the warm bright light.

"Amber!" A voice called to me and my body shook slightly. I hummed weakly, forcing my eyes opened and realised that the lights were blinding, although my visions were still blurry. My head felt light, causing my body to slumber back down onto the soft mattress.

"Luke?" I whipered, knowing that no one else would care.

"Luke?" His voice hard, holding a hint of anger, "No, I'm not Luke." When his words had finally registered, I pulled away and focused on the man. The sight gathered itself and I squinted harder, as my vision became clear, it was non other than my mate, Derek.

I shifted from him in an instant, until the edge of the bed could give no more room for my buttock. "W-what are you doing here?" I stuttered, surprised that he was the on by my side, "Where's Luke?" My head spun left and right, assing his shoulders but we were the only two in this room.

"Who's Luke?" His jealousy was clearly visible through his eyes but I chose to ignore it. His breathing changed as it began to slow, indicating that he was clam. "How are you feeling?"

"I'm fine," I replied, feeling my body begun to relax under his touch. Derek's thump caressed my palm soft and gently; tucking me to move back onto the bed properly.

"I'm sorry," he apologized, looking down at the hand he was holding, "I didn't know I caused you these pains."

"Y-you don't know?" I scoffed shakily, anger began to boil, "Don't give me that, you and I both know that consequence of sleeping around." I yanked my hand out of his grip and tucking it under the white sheets.

"I'm sorry, I know. But I didn't know it would do this to yo-" He was instantly interrupted as the door swung open. I leaned to one side to get a glimpse of the person and Luke strode in casually, not bothered that the Alpha was in the middle of his speech, not that he knew anything about werewolves anyways. Derek's head snapped around and I felt his aura changed.

"Mr Colton, what are you doing here?" Derek grunted annoyingly as he stood up to block Luke's way.

Luke advanced forwards anyways, sizing up wit Derek and I could sense the tension between them two. "Why, I'm paying my little angel a visit of course." Luke pushed pass Derek, barely, and stood by the bed. He sent me a sweet and an apologetic before his hand came down to my head, ruffling my supposedly-already-messy hair.

"I'm glad you're okay Amber," he mumbled quiety but I was able to hear him, and so could Derek, I supposed.

"You two know each other?" Derek's vocie rang from behind Luke's tall and built figure.
