A/N I found this drawing while I was wandering around the wonders of Pinterest. This is how I imagined the scar when I first read the books, a long jagged scar that looks like a real lightning bolt. THIS DRAWING DOES NOT BELONG TO ME. IT BELONGS TO SOMEONE WHO IS AMAZING FOR DRAWING THIS. I'm not sure who, though. And while I'm at it, HARRY POTTER DOES NOT BELONG TO ME, ALL RIGHTS TO THE WONDERFUL J.K. ROWLING.

When Lily and James were revealed to the rest of the Order everybody was, in the simplest terms, completely shocked out of their minds, which was to be expected considering the circumstances.
It took at least three hours of threatening, questioning, disbelief, tears, and shouting before everyone was convinced that Lily and James Potter were truly back from the dead. The rest of the day was spent with much talking, hugging, and crying, except for a certain Severus Snape who had mysteriously disappeared at some point without anyone's notice. Well, nobody except for a half-moon spectacled, crooked-nosed professor observing from the corner.
That day was possibly the happiest day that the old house at number twelve Grimmauld Place had ever seen, at least until the reality of Harry's hearing came upon them.
The night before Harry's hearing, not one Potter slept well. Lily stayed up the whole night, worried out of her mind, and in turn, she kept James up with her constant worrying.
When morning came, and Harry had finally departed for his hearing, Lily kept herself busy around the house, trying to distract herself from Harry's hearing. That day she got more cleaning done than the rest of them had done in a week.
James had disappeared, along with Sirius. Nobody tried to think too much about what disastrous pranks they could be planning. They would never have imagined that they were grooming Buckbeak, just talking, with pranks the farthest thing from their mind.
When, at long last, Arthur Weasley arrived back with Harry, they all were waiting impatiently at the door when a sullen looking Harry Potter walked in.
"I won't be..." Suddenly he broke into a large grin. "needing you to write me any letters from Hogwarts." He directed to Ron and Hermione.
"You mean...?"
"I got off!"
Ron pumped his fist into the air. "I knew it! You always get away with stuff!"
"He gets that from his father," James said, wearing his usual lopsided grin.
"They were bound to clear you," Hermione said, who was looking a bit faint, "They had no case against you, none at all."
"You all seem pretty relieved for people who knew all along that I'd get off."
Fred, George, and Ginny started dancing around the room singing, "He got off, he got off, he got off-" Soon enough, James joined in, "He got off, he got off, he got off-"
"James, that's enough." Lily scolded, though she was smiling with relief herself.
"Listen, Sirius. We saw Lucius Malfoy at the Ministry-" Arthur told Sirius.
"What?" Sirius snapped.
"He got off, he got off, he got off-"
"Be quiet, you lot!" Arthur scolded them.
James stopped dancing and cleared his throat when he got a stern glare from Lily. "Yes, I think that's enough now."
"Yes, we saw him on level nine, talking to the Minister, and then they went up to the Minister's office together. Dumbledore ought to know about this."
