Dipper wasn't actually in that room for too long before people where being filtered out. Apparently they where all being dragged upstairs for the ritual.
He could tell that whatever room they were in was large, it echoed terribly. The floor he was plopped on was stone, and was rather rough on his skin. They had all been either cuffed, or thier hands had been tied. They also blindfolded all the prisoners, which didn't really affect Dipper considering he never saw anything to begin with.
"I summon forth the angel of heaven and the demon of hell, recognise now this exchange between he who I summon next," a voice began. He was doing something, but Dipper couldn't hear what. Oh we're already starting.
Dipper heard what sounded like wind, then he could hear two distinct laughs. One was light, airy and joyful. The other was a deep hearty chuckle. Both sent a shiver down his spine.
"We recognise this exchange, and witness these negotiations," they said, the laughter still in the background. Dipper was surprised the this madman actually managed to summon the demon and angel. He honestly thought it had to be harder than that.
Then he was chanting something about triangles? Dipper wasn't quite sure. What he was sure of was a thump before he started speaking backwards. Then there was a high pitched sound followed by crackling fire before Dipper heard the most beautiful sound in his life. Bill's distorted and echoing laugh filled the room.
"You found me," he said before he could think. It seemed no one had heard him, or at least they pretended not to.
"Master Cipher! I am lowly in comparison to your glory!" The cult leader started. Dipper thought that sounded awfully desperate. "My men and I have gathered gifts, these humans are for you, each adorned naturally with a form of the stars. All we want in return is safety in the doomsday that is soon to come. We wish to aid you in harbouring the apocalypse!" He said.
Dipper could feel his eyes roll.
"As far as I'm aware, there are 88 constellations that you meat sacks recognise, why then are there only 87 flash bags here?" Bill said, his voice was the comforting distorted echo that Dipper was so happy hear.
"Have your eyes deceived you in old age?" A new voice, sickly sweet, and vapid said. "I count 88."
"I rarely agree with Mr. Morality over there," this voice was gravely and deep, presumably that of demon of hell. "But my eyes too count 88."
"Master Cipher I assure you that there are-" the man said
"Fools, all of you. A gift is not stolen from whom it will be given. There are 87." Bill cut him off. Dipper was delighted, Bill would save him!
"A pet of yours? You haven't had one in hundreds of years," said the hell demon.
"But that does make it an incomplete set, not to mention the fact that they've stolen from you," said the hevean angel.
"I will not accept incomplete gifts, or stolen goods. Return to me what you have taken, and I may be generous enough to spare you for now," Bill said.
"Master Cipher I apologize but I am at a loss, we had no intention of taking what did not belong to us-"the man said.
"And all these meatbags belonged to you except the one you stole? I find it highly unlikely that is the case..." The angel cut him off. There was silence.
"My pet?" Bill said, his irritation was incredibly clear.
"You there, bring the master his pet!" the gaurds fumbled around nearby, not knowing who they looked for.
"Stand, pet," Bill said. Dipper was surprised, but stood. He supposed that Bill was doing this to keep up appearances with the others. The gaurds cut free his hand, and took the blindfold off his eyes before pushing him forward. He walked, and after a moment he herd Bill's voice in his head. There's three steps in front of you, step up, love. Dipper trusted him and stepped up, successfully getting up the stairs. Take four more steps and then do your best to kneel properly. They will not bother harming a pet, but I fear for your safety if we do not convince them that you are. Dipper did so, angling his head down and trying to look obedient. He wanted to get out of here as soon as possible.
"Have they treated you with proper respect, pet?" Bill said. Dipper blinked before formulating his response.
"No, master." He said simply, thinking it was the safest way to respond. After Bill's warning Dipper was scared of the angel and demon. He put this into his voice, hoping he sounded suitably frightened.
"Oh? Tell me of your stay here," Bill said, sounding disinterested.
"I- they left me in the cold, and wet, Master. There was no food," he began, willing stutters from his voice. He rubbed his wrists, feeling the imprints of the rope on them, and from where the bracelet was squished into his skin. "They provided no bed, and the ropes they put on my wrists has marked my skin, Master."
"Show me." Dipper put his wrists out, keeping his head down. After a moment Bill told him to drop his arms. "I am most livid by the blatant disregard for the health and appearance of my property. I will make no deals with you or any of your men. We're leaving." Bill said.
"My apologies Mas-" and before the madmen even finished his sentence they were gone. Teleportation was weird, it felt like he was weightless for a moment, and smelled like fire, and something he couldn't place. Dipper took a deep breath. After a moment Bill's manic laughter quieted, indicating that he was no longer in demon form.
"Stand up, love. Are you alright?" Bill said, laying a hand gently on Dipper's arm. Dipper grabbed Bill's hand allow him to be helped to his feet.
"I... I'm fine. I was scared, but I'm glad you saved me," Dipper said, going in to hug Bill. Bill hugged him back.
"Good, I got you, pine tree. We're gonna go get your family, hang out at the shack. It's gonna be perfect." Bill rubbed circles on Dipper's back, trying to comfort him.
"What about the others? They don't deserve-"
"Gabe, the angel, is gonna put them all relatively close to where they came from. He always does on stuff like this. Luc, the demon, is probably going ham and eating half of that stupid cult as we speak. It will be fine, dear." Bill picked him up. "But now we need to go get your folks, I was summoned when we were outside that pointless place. So I need to get them to the shack." Dipper buried his face into Bills chest as the weightless feeling over took him again.
He was so happy, he was found.
I am going to finish this bitch one day, all you just wait.
