I Said the L word!

Mason's POV
Why is she always on my mind? Just hearing her say I love you moments earlier makes my pulse beat 100 miles a minute.She must never know of my secret. I've known her spirit for over a 500 years.I've waited this long, why would I stop thinking of her now?. She is the girl my mother has always warned me about.

*5 years ago*
"Son, could you come here for a minute ,I feel it's time your ready."I hear mother calling me.
"Coming!"I shout hurriedly running out of my room and down the stairs.
"Mother, you called me?"I say panting from running down the stairs.

"Yes, son, there's something I must tell you, and although your age is not appropriate, you must know now sooner that expected.
"Mother,what is it?"I say sitting down on the sofa and grab her hands in mine gently.

"Have you ever felt that you belong not at a place but with a person?"Mother asks quietly.
"Do you ever feel the need to run outside because you felt the presence of someone that you've never met?Mother asks scarily.
"Mother, what are you going on about?"I say chuckling trying to enlighten the mood.

"Son, I must tell you what these signs mean. It means you've found your other half."She says fastly.
"Mother, you know I never understand you when you talk in riddles.Could you say that again? "I say patiently.
"You've found your soul mate, my beautiful baby boy."Mother says slowly.

I blush.
"Mother, I haven't been your baby boy since I was 4.That was 9 years ago."I say sternly.
"Don't take that tone with me, boy."Mother says.

I narrow my eyes.
"How do you know I've found my soul mate? What it it's just some girl I've gone attracted to over time?"I say while staring at mother's reaction.
"Because her soul is the one that makes yours cry out.I know of love my dear son, and I feel you've loved her from afar without taking notice."Mother says with a saddened glint in her eyes.

"Mother if you're so sure of this, why haven't you told me before now?"I ask questionily
"Because you would think of me cruel, when I tell you to stay away from her."Mother says growling.

"Why would you do that if she's my soul mate?"I says trying to calm down my anger.
"BECAUSE SHE IS THE ONE THEY'VE COME FOR, AND I WILL NOT HAVE MY SON KILLIED AS THE RESULT OF TRYING TO SAVE HER."Mother says whimpering.
End of Flashback
I have to tell her, for when she comes to love me as I am, I must do the same.

My beautiful Racheal how I wish to call my Angel now. But I can't. I won't.I need to prepare myself for when she leaves me.But I don't want her to leave, I've just found her heart and I won't give up an easy fight.I need to go back, maybe the council can help me? No, that's horseshit, they're probably laughing at the soul mate I have. I'll kill them if they even think of telling her.

Is it even worth living when we lose our other half before we even put our hearts together?

Racheal's POV
What's wrong with me? Why is He always on my mind? How is He the one to know when I'm sad? Where do I look when I think of him? He's always the first one on my mind in the morning, and the last thing at night. How would my life ever be if I hadn't have met him? He leaves me breathless just by saying his name.
Beep..beep. My phones ringing. Looks like someone's texting me.
Unknown Number- Hey, it's me. Mason.
Me- Mason? Old best-friend Mason?
Unknown Number- I didn't know you had so many best friends.
Me- I don't you were the only one, until you abandoned me, and left me all alone.
Unknown Number- Are you still going over that? It's been over five years. Move on from the past!
Me- Don't fucking do that. Don't judge me like you know what I've been through. I've spend all these years wondering if you were okay. All this time, I thought you were just in my imagination.
Unknown Number- Well, now I know you're crazy.
Me- Why would you say that? You weren't there for me. You never were.
Unknown Number- Racheal, you can't say I didn't even try.
Me- I HATE YOU......BECAUSE THAT'S BULLSHIT AND WE BOTH KNOW IT.
Unknown Number- Why are you so mad if you know I didn't fucking do it on purpose?
Me- Because you left me with a kiss and a broken-heart, the kiss never left my cheek,nor did the tears when I watched you leave me with those monsters!
Unknown Number- Did you ever think that maybe I didn't want to go,my mom tells me to pack my bags,because she earned a better job, what did you want me to do,stay with you forever??
Me- Why would I care,as long as you were in my life,I would've killed the President himself if it meant you would stay.

Angrily hanging up the phone,I slam my hand out at the wall,slamming my fist against it.
"Shit, shit, shit, that was so stupid why did I just do that!"I say yelling to no one.

"Why can't I just let him go?" I say sitting on my bed, throwing my phone at the wall.

A/N-Since it's been a while I'll remind you that writing in her diary is bold,but bold is also other things so just kind of always look for Angel. I've updated this chapter because I want to and I love you my Destinies!!!

I hate him so much Angel, I just want to jam my fist into my soul mate's face. How is this fair to me? To fall in love with the one person I thought I would never see again? The one who left me, only to come back and want to be a hero? FUCK THAT! I don't believe in fairy tales nor happily ever after. Mine was stolen from me when I discovered my powers it's not fair, and I don't deserve that! Okay I'm calming down, I drunk a little Arizona Raspberry Tea. This shit is good.
