HELLEDONIA : VAMPIRE WORLD

PROLOGUE

"Oh my!" I think I'm having that bad hair days right now. Like, it's not even Friday the 13th and here I am having the baddest day of my everyday life. I spilled a drink to a customer, got scolded from my bald manager, slipped from the wet floor that I am mopping earlier and then this, almost got hit because some asshole riding a motorbike drove passed by while I'm standing on the edge of the sidewalk because I'm waiting for a bus to ride home.

I landed on my butt, cursing under my breath and before I got up I saw the night sky clear of any stars. Don't tell me it's gonna rain? I don't have my umbrella with me great.

It took about twenty minutes before the bus to my ride home came.

"wow" I sarcastically breathe out before I hop off the bus. It's raining heavily. I tried covering myself with my sling bag but it's no use so I just continue walking. I still have to walk for ten minutes before I reach my apartment

I finally reached my so-called apartment, Mrs. Choi's apartment that I can measure using three spreads of my arms, it's so tiny that only a pig can fit but not that I'm complaining, I don't have the rights because it's still better than having no shelter at all. Just when I'm about to put my keys on the knob, the door opened, Mrs. Choi came out eyeing me from head to toe.

"g-good evening M-Mrs. Choi" I shivered from the coldness of the rain while giving her an awkward smile. Mrs. Choi looks pissed by something I can't think of, she was glaring unto my skull

All of a sudden, she threw out the duffel bag my parents left me before they disappeared. "Mrs. Choi why are you throwing out my things?"

Mrs. Choi smugly spat "This is not an orphanage Alexis, you still owe me a year of rent and here you are asking why I'm doing this?!" she turned her heels against me and was about to close the door but I caught her arm which she harshly pried automatically

"Mrs. Choi, please bare with me more, I have no---"

"GET OUT OF MY SIGHT! I DON'T HAVE TIME FOR YOUR NEVER ENDING EXCUSES ANYMORE!" before I can even reach out for her arm again, she already shut the door right in my face

"Mrs. Choi! Mrs. Choi! Please! I have nowhere to go~ please" I keep banging on the door but no response from the inside. My tears started rolling in my cheeks together with the raindrops that keeps pouring down on me. I shakily grab the old duffel bag as I drag myself away from the apartment.

Before I knew it, I was already in the covered court of our province. I went inside lifelessly, atleast this will give me shelter for tonight. I slowly sat on the cold floor, hugging my knees as I continue crying.

"Mom.. Dad..." I shivered as cold gust of wind blew "why? Why is this happening to me? Why did you left me just like that? Why?" endless tears flowing in my wet face as I clutch on the pendant of the necklace mom left me "I hope.. I wish.. I wish I can be with you again..I'm already having a very hard time living all by myself.." my eyes started to feel drowsy and before I knew it, I'm already drifting into dream land
