Senior Year to Remember

Chapter 2

      "Hey, beautiful! What your name?" Landon interrupted. "You really don't remember me?" I questioned. Landon leans over to ask Bailey to ask who I was. "You don't remember who she is?!" Bailey half yelled and half whispered at Landon. "Not really?" Landon sheepishly said. "It Becca, you idiot!" Bailey said. "Holy crap! Becca? You look so different." Landon said. "I mean it's been 5 years." I said joining in on conversation. "Wow, you looked so different. I didn't even recognize you." Landon said. "Different in a good way, or bad way?" I asked Landon with a joking smile on my face. " In a good way obviously." Landon says with a wink. "Thank you." I say blushing. "Ok, class turn your books to page 1 and start reading!",the substitute teacher yelled.

After class is over

     "I can't believe she assigned us homework and it's only the first day of school!" Bailey whines. "I know right." I say. "What class do you have next?" Landon asked. "English," I say. "Gym," Bailey says. "Well, I will see you guys both later. I have science next." Landon says as he walks away. "Ok, bye." Bailey and I say, before walking the opposite ways.

     As I was heading to my English class, I noticed Ryder walking the same way I was. I wonder why he didn't join in on our conversation. As I headed into the English class the teacher, Mr. Johnson, gave us assigned seats and guess who I got assigned next too? You got that right, Ryder. Ryder hasn't said a word to me all day. Then I remember what Hailey told me about his girlfriend and how he thinks he so much better than everyone else. Before the class was over Mr. Johnson assigned us a project that we had to do with partners for half of our grades. It was due in two weeks, and our partner were the people sitting next to us. That's just great for me.

Lunch time

     I go get my food from the vending machines, because the cafeteria food is disgusting and I see Bailey waving at me like crazy to come sit with her. I just laugh to myself and walk over there. When I get there I see Landon talking to a girl name Sydney Smith. Sydney is one of those girls who is too nice for their own good, but I know that there's something off about her. Just as I set my food down, Sydney gives me a too sweet of a smile and says hi to me. "Where's Ryder?" I asked Bailey. " I don't know, I just saw him like 5 minutes ago." Bailey says. Right when we finish talking, Ryder walks in with Brooklyn. He doesn't even give a look at us when he passed our table. He took a seat in Brooklyn's table. "I wonder why he isn't sitting with us." Landon said. "Me top," Bailey and I said in union. Then Sydney started whining about how she had so much homework.

After school

     Bailey, Landon, Ryder and I planned to hang out at my house after school, but we didn't know if Ryder was going to show up since we didn't get a chance to talk to him. Landon had just texted him the details, if he wanted to come. Bailey and I headed to my house, and decided to call a pizza place by my house. We got to catch up, and talk for a bit before Landon came.

     "Nice house!" Landon exclaimed. "Thanks! Want some pizza?" I laughed. " Yes!" he pleaded with an eager expression on his face. We decided to catch up on each others lives, and I found out that Landon was a huge party thrower. I also found out that Landon broke his arm two times from getting tackled in football. It was just like old times,but we were missing one person. Then I asked Landon, "Why didn't Ryder come with him?" He said, "Oh, Ryder, he had some business to handle." Landon mumbled quietly as if he was unsure. Bailey and I rolled our eyes, because he wouldn't tell us what business. We decided to watch a movie after that, and Bailey decided that she would sleepover at my house tonight. Then Landon left before the movie was finished, because he got a phone call from someone. Then he said that he had to leave, because whoever called needed a favor and that it was important. Something wrong. Right before he left, my parents walked in from work. They had a little conversation with Landon. There was a lot of "You grown so much," and "What handsome boy, you have become." Then Landon left right after my parents were done talking to him.

     We- my parents, Bailey, and I- all had dinner and my parents got to catch up with Bailey. After dinner, Bailey and I decided to play on the Xbox 360 in my game room. Yes, I have a game room and a Xbox 360. Bailey and I are really competitive, but Bailey is more competitive, because she plays like every sport and I only play one sport, which is soccer. We played FIFA Soccer 2017, Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare, and Black Ops 3. After that we got bored, so we decided to finish some homework and call it a night.
