I had gotten no sleep last night, because I kept on tossing and turning in my bed thinking about the worst that will come. I was so worried about what would happened with my ankle that I literally became insane.

At 6 am, I got up to tell my parents that we had to get to the hospital. That was how worried I was.

Arrived at the hospital

The x-rays results must have been looking apparently really good, because when my parents and I walked into the hospital that morning Dr. J was smiling at me like he had the greatest news to tell the entire world about. Then Dr. J said that he had good news, which only meant that I had a grade ii sprain in my ankle. I was so relief. I'm was so happy at the moment that I'm practically jumping for joy.

After I literally stopped screaming for joy, Dr. J advise me to go to a therapist. He said that they should help me just fine.

Going to a therapist

My parents took me to the family therapist right after we finished getting the news from the hospital. My therapist said that I had to rest the area of my ankle by avoiding any activity that causes pain, which meant no soccer at all, applying ice packs to the area for 15 to 20 minutes every 2 hours for 1-2 weeks to see if my ankle would stop swelling, and using crutches ,or other walking aids to help alleviate pain and support my balance. She also told me that I had to wrap my ankle, or use an ankle brace for support and to prevent swelling. She also said that I would have to go to therapy one time every week, so that I could slowly build my strength back up to be able to walk on my ankle again.

Bailey stopped by at my house after school to drop off my homework, and she wanted to talk to me, but I was "asleep" when she had came by. My parents told me that I had to take it easy for the few weeks, so I couldn't play soccer, but they said I can go to practices and support my team as long as I stay off of my ankle.

I was really frustrated, because soccer was my output, when I was angry I would realie on soccer to calm me down. Now I can't do what I love most for a few weeks, because something my best friend did. I know that what Bailey did was an accident, but I just can't believe that one minute I was playing my favorite sport, and then the next minute I couldn't play soccer for almost half of the season. I couldn't wrap my head around it, and everything was happening so fast.

The next day, my family members, neighbors, and friends, all came to wish me the best. All, but one person who I was hoping to come did not show up. It was getting late, and I had to go to school tomorrow because I had already missed 2 days, which means I have a lot of homework to catch up on. I was finally able to forgive Bailey, and she is helping me out by carrying my book while I'm on crutches.

"Wake up Becca," someone familiar whispered. "What?" I ask still in my sleep. "I have to talk to you," the person said. "Will you save me if the dragons come to eat me?" I say thinking I was still in a dream. Then I heard a burst of laughter in the background and that brought me back to reality. I sit up, and I see RYDER on the ground holding his stomach laughing at me so hard. Why did I say that? I ask myself as I mentally face palm. "Why did you just hit your face?" Ryder ask laughing even harder. "Did I just really do that for real and not in my brain?" I ask Ryder groaning at myself. "Yeah, you did." Ryder said cracking up all over again.

After we both finished laughing, Ryder ask me, if I could hang out with him sometime, so he could explain something to me. I told him, sure, but I'm kind of crippled right now, so I probably can hang out when I can actually walk again on my own. He then reply, the sooner the better.

That night I could not sleep at all. All I could wonder about is what Ryder wanted to talk about. He has been on my mind for the past two hours, and this is really bad because I'm supposed to be worrying about only school, and soccer. I can't get distracted, because of a little crush I had on Ryder when we were younger.

Then I heard something that was coming from my window. I thought it was just an animal, or something, but it kept making this weird sound for like 5 minutes. After I had enough of the sound, I took a bat that my dad had kept in the closet, and walked downstairs to see who was making the noise. Just as I walked out of the house (I had a cast on), I heard people mumbling, and whispering. "Do you think she is going to come out?" A person with a raspy voice hissed at the others. " I don't know, let's just wait for like 3 more minutes. Then we can start the event." An unfamiliar person had muttered back. What if they egged my house? I have to do something quick.

The first thing I thought of was to hit them with a bat, or well pretend to hit them with a bat so it would scare them away. So I slowly crept forward towards them. Then I hear someone say, what are you doing? As I turn around I see a guy behind me who I don't know, he was giving me an edgy/dangerous vibe. Just as I was about to turn, and wobble my way back to my house, he grabs my arm and pulls me in the way he was walking. "I'm going to scream if you don't let go of me, and tell me what is going on and where are you taking me." I told him with a serious tone. All the he did was grunt, and kept pulling me towards the street.

Then I saw little candles on the street that shaped up to make up a word. It said, WILL YOU GO TO HOCO W/ ME, spelled out in candles. I looked up to see Ryder standing there with flowers in his hands. I see Bailey and Landon taking pictures in the background. Then I hear Ryder say, so will you? I didn't know what to say, I just stood there speechless. After about 2 minutes, Bailey nudged me and I said, sure with a wink. Ryder picks me up, and muttered a sorry in my ear. Sorry for what?
