LOST WINGS

chapter one: First day

Hi, I'm Leo Andrews. 14 years old and I'm a guardian angel.. Well, yeah, I was sort of.. kinda.. banished from heaven because I lost in a battle over my last kid Rein Ashford from a demon. Well, you see I was sent here on earth to live a normal life like you kids do. The council for heavenly affairs sent me here, somewhere in the coasts of England. I'm gonna tell you some things about me. I don't know anything about my past. I mean, I live all my life in the heaven but you know I'm wondering who really I am. Now, I'm gonna share you my first days on earth.

It was my  first day on a school like this. The atmosphere is different. The kids are different. Everything is different. I [as far as I know] didn't attend any school except in the heaven training camp where they taught us some things. Great and valuable things. Now, as  I search my classroom from the main hall where everyone gathered to look for their rooms and schedule my hands starts to sweat. Everyone [ I think] stared at me. My heart beats so fast I can hear it's slow thump-thump-thump in my chest. My feet won't walk. oh no! I'm doomed. Well, not really. Now I finally found the room I was searching. Room # 17 will be my classroom for the next months. 

I entered the room with trembling hands and a chilly feeling. As I open the sliding doors, everyone stared at me. I manage to make a little smile and find a vacant seat  as soon as possible, Then a  woman entered the room and make some speech.

" God morning ladies and gentle kids. I'm just kidding. I am Ms. Lindsay Adolf.I will be your english and literature teacher and your adviser as well. I remember almost everyone of you except you young man..[then he pointed at me] Now let's start this year as each of you introduce his or her interests, what do you like to talk about, anything."

Then she wait for a hand to raise but no one seems interested to be the first one. Ms. Lindsay smiled and pulled her class record. She asked if any of her students want to volunteer but since no one raises a hand she called out a student.

" hmmm, let's start with those who has a surname who starts with the letter A! A...A...A...Andrews. yeah. Leo Andrews, please step forward and introduce yourself." she said in a cheerful voice.

" oh men" I whispered. Then slowly stand up and walk infront of students. Behind me was Ms. Lindsay's table. I cleared my throat and wipe off some sweat. on my forehead then I proceed. That time, I felt I was inside a box, a very small box,. I thought I was suffocating but  I just went on.

"Good morning. I am... Leo Andrews.. I'm fourteen years old.. and.. ah.. I came from... a normal family. .. I can drive a car. Play the piano. I excelled in archery and fencing. I'm addicted in sweet stuffs like chocolates and candies. I .. hope.. everyone will help me ... blend in this class. Thank you" I said. then hurriedly sit back on my chair. Everyone's staring at me. 

" That is quite short, but thank you. Now let us proceed. " she said.

Then all the girls gigled. I don't know why but it seems like I was melting. Eight boys soon introduced themselves. There's this Marc Sherridan, Arthur Wellington, Zach McRazor, Ulrich Attword. I don't remember the other student's names. Then the girls came next. 

Each students share his or her interests. when everyone's finish, Ms. Lindsay wrote our schedule on the board and told us that tomorrow will be the start of our regular class.

" Kids, you may atleast visit the school grounds for a while. Your schedule is written on the board. Please copy it immediately. I will leave you right now because of some minor problems that must be meet as soon as possible. Good bye children.." then she left.
