LOST WINGS

chapter three: HOME

While driving, Leo saw something on his passenger's seat. It was an envelope sealed with some gold thingy. He look on it's adressee and it was for him. A drive from Camborne to Penzance takes a little less time than he expects. A regular drive takes around an hour or so but he just made it in for about forty-five minutes. Then he entered a private looking place. He saw his house. When he's right infront of it he called out: "Gate open"  and the gate did what it was commanded. It was a narrow gate only his cars can fit. Then he ventured a long trail before he actually end upon his house. His house was located at a higher ground level than the rest of the whole Penzance. So he just get out  of his car and manage to stand infront of the glass doors in no time.

"This will be my new home, for atleast some months or even longer." Leo said then he sighed in exasperated tone.

His house had an overview of all Penzance. He can also see the distant sea. A peaceful place to start a new beginning. he looked around and smile. It's only one in the afternoon,. Then he inhaled and said in the most gentle tone he can come up on..

"Door open" Then the sliding glass door opened in a split second. As you can see or imagine.. His house ain't ordinary. It's extraordinary! he lives in a two storey brick and granite house. He got this enormous glass filled room, a very spacious lawn and a smart balcony on top. Most of his belongings are also voice activated,

He went on the living room and sit on the couch. "Home atlast!" he said. Then he remembered the envelope. He look on the adressee and it says: Leo Andrews. He opened it and saw a letter inside.

Here's what it says.,

"To our dearest angel Leo,

Tomorrow you will start your way on learning valuable lessons. keith Clark Salvatore will be there in no time. we just hope that you will be responsible enough to save this place, this house that we build for you. Everything in this place is made here in heaven so it will last for the rest of yor life. Now, the real quest will start. As long as you don't know your lesson, you will loose your magnificent wings and become a mortal.  When you loose your wings and the transtion happens, either you will die or become a human. if you are blessed enough you will be a human but if not, we'll we don't have any choice but to do what the rules says. Destroy you ourselves before you turn into a demon or worse. If you still want to be a guardian angel you must and certainly you will do your best to be one once again.

After he read it, Leo sighed and frown a little. Things started to feel good then the letter came in. Good timing.

"Okay..? How could they do this to me? I mean become mortal.. and if not careful, I'll die? Whoa, This is great.. Really great!

Then he went upstairs and change.  His room was composed of a blue king size bed. He got three wardobes, One for his shirts, polos, and school uniforms. He also got some tuxedos and formal wear along with it. Another one was for jeans, trousers, pants and slacks. Another one was for his jackets, winter coats, sweaters and hoodies. He also have a small cabinet for his underwears, boxer shorts and socks and neck ties and towels and handkerchieves. The room also contains a changing room and a bathroom. he got two racks, One for shoes, boots, slippers and foot wear. The other one was for his hats and caps. He got sixty and nine pairs of shoes, that's his casuals. A dozen of black shoes for school and three leather boots. A black, a white and a brown. He got sixteen hats all different from each other and a single cap.

Leo's room occupied the whole second floor so everything fitted inside. He got around seventy designs for polos, Fifty three shirts, and seven school uniform. He only need five but he kept the two incase he need another one. he got sixty nine pants, a dozen of slacks  and a couple of trousers.he got a hundred boxer and underwear, [gross]!.

Then he [literally] undress himself and sleep. After a few hours, he was awaken by a strange noise.. Then he saw his phone blinking and buzzing. When he look at the screen, he saw an unimaginable number of text messages. 500 and fifty two to be exact. Then he went on the press the delete all in message settings and in such a short time, all his messages are gone.

" I'm hungry. Hey, where's my laptop? " he ask himself. "It's suppose to be in... here!" Then he open a study table and smile. It wasn't there. He hurried going downstairs and look on the clock. Past six pm. He grabbed a basketful of bread. He open his fridge and saw something that made his smile grow a little biger. CHOCOLATES!!. Our dear angel was infact addicted to chocolates and sweets.

He then snuggled on the couch and turned on his t.v. There are no good shows but something caught his eye, a good humored film called Bridge to Terabithia. He shifted on a sitting position and eat some bread. He heated some cocoa. When the night get's boring, he start up his laptop and surf the net. Cool you think? How could an angel learn such things. let me tell you, he's not your traditional angel.. He's a modern one but that doesn't mean he don't know anything about conduct or virtue. He just go with the flow of humans but still anchored to his own nature.

" okay, log in log in.." Leo said as he wait for the facebook page to load. " this is great."

When he looked on his account he got Eighteen friend request, five hundred messages which only says "welcome to Aspen high!" and nothing on his notifs. God he's poor. Kidding.

Then he get to know alot more about his classmates. Everything run quite good. He became a member of three pages. One was Aspen High, where the official page of the school is. Sophomore_ Griffin, his class and Aspen High Student council. He's starting to be a human,, Well he's on the road of being one.

You think it's cool don't you? The way he lives in total luxury and lavish way but the council planned it. They want a new Leo when and if he comes back on heaven.

" I ate a basket of bread, two pounds ground beef and a bar of chocolate. I drank four mugs of cocoa. That's a load, I think I'll hit the sack. it's already eleven in the evening. I must sleep." leo said and yawned.

Then he change into his angel form when he went upstairs. Brush his teeth. wash his face and feet and soon fall asleep. He sleep quite awkward because, he sleep naked. No garments, no shirt, nothing. His wings turns into a cocoon like and wrap Leo's body inside. Soon he falls in a deep, calm sleep. Outside his windows and up in the dark starlit sky. The moon glows perfectly romantic and it cast a great white light and leaves dark shadows beyond the stiff and hard objects that won't let it's light pass.

Everything in Penzance is calm. But on Camborne, someone is thinking about Leo.

"I want to know who you really are because I sensed something more than what you shows"
