Clarke's POV

Lexa and I have been talking for about an hour and the party was still going strong. A few people here and there were passed out drunk. The short amount of time I've been talking with her felt like magic, there is so much more to her than a pretty face, she's special.

We've both had a lot to drink and we're both pretty drunk.

"Hey Clarke?" Lexa said, a little nervous.

"Yea Lexa?"

"I really like you Clarke" she slurred. what. She's drunk, she doesn't know what she's talking about.

As much as I wanted it to be true I know it wasn't, she's drunk; but I do have to keep my promise to myself...right?

"I really like you too, Lexa" I did it, that wasn't so bad, probably because of all the alcohol I've consumed tonight.

She looked liked she was about to say something but then her eyes went wide and she ran into the bathroom. I ran after, when I entered the bathroom I saw Lexa hunched over the toilet, emptying her stomach. I held her hair and rubbed her back, trying to sooth her.

"I'm sorry you had to see that"

"Shhh you're alright Lexa, stay here I'm gonna go get you some water." And so I walk back in the kitchen and grab 2 bottles of water from the fridge one for me and one for her.

When I walk back into the bathroom I see Lex now standing over the sink and washing her face.

"Feeling better?" I say to her

"A little" she smiled. I hand her one of the water bottles. Lexa takes a few long gulps of the water and adds "thank you"

"It's not a problem, really" I gave her a reassuring smile

"Do you wanna get out of here?" What does she mean by that? Ok play it cool, remember you're a Griffin.

"Sure, where do you wanna go?" Ok that was good.

"My place? we can watch a movie or something?" That's basically a date right? Stop you're being crazy, friends watch movies all the time. Right..?

I'm pulled out of my thoughts when I hear Lexa call my name.

"W-what? Oh yea, sure that sounds great!" Good job Griffin, you just had to stutter. I thought to myself. I could feel the heat rise to my cheeks in embarrassment.

"Alright" she giggled before adding "let's go"

We made our way out of the house and started walking to her house. We didn't take a car because both of us were still pretty drunk. After walking in awkward silence I hear her say "Clarke?"

"Yea?"

"I meant it"

"Meant what?"

I could see her blush and a nervous smile appear on her face. "That I like you" ok now I'm the one that's blushing like an idiot

"I did too" she turns to me with a real smile this time. I'm blushing so hard right now I bet I look like a tomato.

"How come we never hung out before?"

Because I'm to much of a baby to talk to you

"I don't know" I look at her and give her a small smile.
