April 2, 2013: The sun beat down on the construction workers like an inescapable eye, following them everywhere and drenching their backs in a pool of salty sweat that was frequently seeping through their goggles and stinging their eyes.  As if this wasn’t enough they were on a ledge fifty stories up with just one simple rope preventing them from a 500 foot drop. The workers were currently constructing the Spade Tower which, when completed, would be shiny, new addition to the skyline of F. Lauderdale, Florida.

Just then, the new guy walked over with crunchy, juicy, delicious steak hoagies he had purchased from the deli before coming to work that morning.  After passing out the sandwiches to the other three workers, he produced a knife from toolbox and stabbed the two nearest builders.

The third had enough time to react and he shouted “What are you trying to do?”

Because his opponent didn’t answer, the man grabbed his hammer, throwing it at his inferior’s kneecap.  However, he missed, and paid dearly for it.  Although the rookie had dropped his knife, he still had his toolbox.  He used the carton, and bashed his colleague on the head with it. It wouldn’t kill the man, but it would give the murderer plenty of time to initiate the second phase of his plan.

The murderer unstrapped the two dead men from their harnesses, and threw them off the edge to their demise.  He unstrapped the unconscious man from his harness as well, and sent him on his way.  Although he wasn’t dead yet, he wouldn’t wake up by the time he reached the ground.  The killer looked down at the pool of bones and red blood mixed with dirt, and then something peculiar happened.  The killer’s eyes closed, his knees buckled, and he himself fell off the ledge to his death.
