~Abbie's POV~

I woke up the next day and dropped Drew off with Maddy. He didn't need to be there for this conversation. I pulled up to the police station and hour later and went it. It was the same lady as the night before. She nodded her head at me and told me a officer would be out to talk to me about my decision. I waited about 10 minutes and an officer I recognized from one of my many visits here. "Hi officer Smith, how are you today?" "I'm good Abbie, staying out of trouble I see." "haha Yeah. Now I just gotta make a decision." "On what grounds do you want to give up the child?" I pouted a little, I didn't want to give Drew up. I love him, but he reminds me too much of his father and I cant raise him by myself. "I can't take care of him anymore, his father is awaiting trial for a possible 5 years in prison and I don't want him growing up like that."

~Jason's POV~

"I can't take care of him anymore, his father is awaiting trial for a possible 5 years in prison and I don't want him growing up like that." Abbie. She actually came today. She said she would but I thought she was just trying to freak me out, but now she's giving up Drew because of me. I cant let that happen.  "NO SHE CANT GIVE HIM UP! I HAVE ENOUGH FOR CHILD'S SUPPORT IF THATS WHAT SHE WANTS. I CANT LET MY SON GROW UP IN A HOUSE OF PEOPLE THAT HE DOESNT EVEN KNOW!" I heard two pairs of feet coming towards me the officer and Abbie I'm guessing. "McCann. You're the father?" "Yeah he is.." Abbie trailed off. "yeah I am, She is legally my wife, but I'm not sure how that's looking right now." "Abbie, Do you want to go with Childs support? Or do you want to go with the adoption option?" that's when I spoke up. "Don't I have any say in this? It's either Childs support or we stay together, Drew wont be growing up with strangers." Smith spoke up this time. "I'm afraid not Jason. You don't have a say because you aren't eligible for custody, in the position you're in, so the fate of the child isn't in your hands."
