It was all back in the battle with copycat. This was the very beginning. Adrien had never seen himself as Chat Noir before, and I guess you could say it was love at first sight. Man, he was soooooooooooo attractive.
This was a side of him he had never seen. Literally, he had never seen it. It was so hard for him to focus. He wanted to know more about himself, there was so much to him he didn't know. Like, how he sounded.
No wonder Marinette always stuttered around him, if he was forced to talk to himself he would stutter too.
After dealing with Copycat, Adrien vowed to get to know himself better and win his own affections.
