It was after school, on one of those rarer occasions where Adrien had nothing to do, so he was stretched out on the sofa in his room. Adrien was talking to Plagg, well maybe, there is a good chance Plagg was only thinking about food.
"Do you think she likes me at all?"
Silence.
"Plaagg!"
"What? I'm hungry, can I have Camembert now?"
"Sure, but do you think that Ladybug likes me?" Adrien asked while digging for some cheese in his bag.
"I don't know. Why do you care if anyone else likes you, food is soooo much more important."
Adrien sighed. "You just don't understand."
Finally finding some cheese, he handed it over to Plagg.
Adrien didn't understand, himself. Why did he care? Emotions made everything more confusing.
Adrien turned on the news. There was an akuma attack. Perfect, now he could find out how Ladybug felt. Even though Adrien was trying to win his own affections, the fan-fiction (which he had recently finished) somewhat increased his crush on Ladybug.
"Plagg, claws out!"
"Aww, but I just barely got this cheeessee!"
