Chat Noir spotted Ladybug, and actually she was on a roof. So far this plan worked, like he wasn't very far but, you know be positive. Chat use his baton-stick-thing to "appear" on the roof beside Ladybug.

"Hey, Bugaboo," Chat tried to say flirtatiously.

"Hey, Chat," Ladybug responded disinterestedly. That was pretty close though to tired.

"You okay m'lady?"

"Yeah, I just need an idea." Man, Ladybug was not so good at sticking to the script.

Chat walked up to her and rested one hand on her shoulder. "Well, we'll do it as a team."

Close. Everything was going good so far.

All he got from Ladybug was a weird look. Maybe she hadn't read that fan-fiction, or maybe she didn't read fan-fiction at all. Or maybe... she wasn't interested.

The outcome of this experiment? Chat was more confused than before. He hoped the author of that fan-fiction wasn't watching. That would be awkward.

Just like the situation he just put himself in.

He could feel himself going red. Oops.

"Are you going to remove your hand from my shoulder?"

"Uh, right. Sorry." Chat removed his hand.
