Song: I hate you I love you-gnash ft. Olivia O'Brien

★★

A week after Olive had come here, every children liked her. She had been staying in Enoch's room and also having his company during all the time. And Victor, he could pay his entire attention on Bronwyn after Olive started helping Enoch with his experiments.

The sunlight sprinkled its shininess on the house peacefully today. After the breakfast, kids were playing joyfully in the garden, which was coated in a golden layer of sunshine. Hugh and Millard were having a football match while Horace was the judge. Victor and Bronwyn were helping Emma with the squirrels because they had strengths so that Emma was safe enough to put the furry babies back to the nest upon the tree.

Upstairs in the house, Olive enjoyed the harmonious scene in the garden, she couldn't help but smiled widely.

"Olive!"

Panicked at the unexpected call, Olive quickly let go of the certain and grinned at the bad tempered Enoch apologetically. Now Enoch would call her using her name. The way he curled his tongue just attracted Olive so much that her heart almost skipped a beat everytime he called her.

"I'm sorry Enoch! It is so fun to watch them!"

Despite the fact that she was apologizing, she reluctantly gave a quick glare to the widow.

"So why don't you leave here and join them. I don't need you anyway."

The calmness in his voice upset Olive somehow. The smile on her face slowly faded until there was only a little curve of her lip, and she readied herself to help him again.

After some seconds, Enoch regretted speaking too over to her. He actually didn't mean that but he couldn't control the cruel words even he tried to be nice. He could vow that he wasn't going to let Olive go because she was helpful that he would be uncomfortable without her being around. It was not in his preference that she turned her gaze away from him...his dolls so fast.

Olive remained silence for awhile and she lowered her gaze to the floor. Until Enoch opened up, she spoke not even a word. She knew he didn't really mean it because he was actually very kind and gentle deep in his heart that he never knew that. Times that she spent with him could proof his hidden kindness. In spite of his good spirit, she was somehow disappointed to death when she heard that he did not need her.

However, instead of clarifying his thoughts, he chose to give her a cold shoulder. It was nothing but he needed not to be intimate with any others. Olive watched him not even looking at her, she tried to convince herself further that he was not that mean.

Her green eyes blinked unsteadily in deep disappointment and she finally laid her gaze on his features. He seldom wore a smile on his face but to some extents, she would like to see more. He should look great when he smile, though she never seen before. Well, he actually did but she didn't know.

Olive's mind had flown a thousand miles, thinking about stuffs between them. She wanted to be a friend of Enoch though everyone seemed not to be close with him except Victor. Couldn't tell why, he just had the power to attract her. Her gut feeling told her that he would be a good friend.

The sudden bang of Enoch standing up pulled Olive back to reality. Enoch glared her blades while Olive was scared and confused by his moment frustration. He rushed out the room but Olive called him stop by the door.
