The queue was surprisingly long, but Cass doesn't have to wait, she packed her own food from home.
"You wanna wait at the table right there?" Zoe asked, pointing at a round table of two seats.
"Sure, I brought my own food," she replied.
Cass made her way out of the busy students and took her seat , while she was getting her box out, something or someone caught her eye. A golden dyed hair girl with curls was sitting at the table opposite of where she was sitting . Around her was a group of girls, she seemed like the main girl though. She somewhat seems familiar.
"Hey, so what did you packed from home?" Zoe asked , setting her tray down. A plate of carbonara spaghetti with mushrooms and a bottle of lime juice was on the tray.
"Steak," Cass said , opening her box, and a scent of barbeque filled the little atmosphere.
With a little self-surprise, she realised she couldn't stop looking at that table of girls.
"What are you looking at?" Zoe asked, noticing Cass staring right behind her.
"You know them?" Cass asked, instead of answering.
"Oh them," Zoe said with a disgusted expression.
"What's wrong?" Cass asked innocently.
"The popular ones, I used to be part of them, until something... happened," Zoe replied, her mood level seemed to dropped.
"Oh..okay," Cass replied , trying not to ask what actually happened, since it's just the first day she met Zoe and she was surprised that she actually managed to make friends , well she considered Jackson as a friend too, like friends hang out right?
The third bell rang and Zoe and Cass made their way back to Class 21.
"Class, go for your biology class, Cassandra, you are in Class 5," Miss Periwink said.
Cass didn't know there were different classes for biology. She turned to look at Zoe since Jackson hadn't been back from break, but she frowned at mouthed that she was in Class 3.
"Oh damn, finally something uncommon, I'm assigned to Class 3 too," Jackson said, as he just came back and started to pack for biology.
"Finally something uncommon" , for some reason that made Cass's heart sank , at least a little.
"Awh yeah finally, I wouldn't want to have to much things in common with you, see you later probs," Cass said casually, with high sarcasm, and turned to head to Class 5.

Biology went quite well except for the fact that she was a bit lonely. She made her way to her locker , just as she heard a familiar voice.
"I told you, we're not getting back together!" it said.
"Oh look, who's that?" another voice added, probably pointing at Cass.
Cass turned around and to her surprise, it was the golden haired girl and her squad.
But it was not just any golden haired girl, it was her. Abigail."It's ....you..." Cass muttered.
"Oh hey Cassandra, you're that new girl? I should have known, shouldn't I, girls?" Abigail said, shooting Cass a look that she hated the most before enrolling in Quens High.
The other two girls giggled. One of them had black hair and the other slightly blond.
They turned to walk away just as Zoe came by.
"Are you okay? I've heard everything, just ignore them," Zoe said, but it didn't really helped Cass's feeling at the moment.

Cass's phone actually vibrated this time just as the final bell of the day rang . It was a text from Daphney."Cass! I couldn't make it to school tdy cos of some business at the bridal boutique, do you mind walking home, you got the keys right? Sorry, love from mom."
"Great," Cass thought to herself, although home wasn't far from school. Without wasting any time, she started to make her way out of the Quens High compound.
After 15 minutes of walking, she finally caught sign of her neighborhood. She made a left turn, and head to the direction of the terrace right opposite of the residents park and the football field.
"Cass!" a voice called out and she turned.
"Why are you here, are you stalking me?" Jackson said playfully with a smirk.
"What no, please , I live here, why are you here?" Cass played along.
"Okay...you seriously got to be kidding me right now," Jackson said, his dimples revealing.
"What do you mean?" Cass asked curiously.
"I live here too!" Jackson replied, just as a light haired boy , almost the same height as Jackson stopped by.
"Jeremy!! Where have you been? I was waiting to tell you about my first day! You have to tell me yours too!" Cass exclaimed.
For a second, Jackson took a glance at Jeremy , with a look of unexpectedly surprise.
"You guys know each other?" he asked in confusion, his freaking dimples deepened.
"Yeah, Cassie is my best friend, we used to be in the same middle school!" Jeremy replied.
"Oh wow, I guessed I'm the only one that's left out right now," Jackson said , looking slightly sad, but of course, sarcastically.
Cass noticed how only Jeremy called her "Cassie". He didn't know how to pronounce "Cass" when they were in elementary school so he prefered calling her "Cassie", although "Cassie" is actually much harder to pronounce. It stayed like that for 9 years till now.
"What, ain't I the one who is left out?" Cass added in, "Since when you guys know each other?"
"Our moms are friends, we often play football together ," Jackson explained.
"I see, which house do you live in? I live in that," Cass continued, pointing at her house.
"Damn, mine is right behind yours!" Jackson exclaimed.
Cass couldn't help but laughed.
"Cassie, you walked home today?" Jeremy asked after not talking for a while.
"Yeah, my mom is busy at the bridal boutique," Cass replied.
"Your mom works at a bridal shop?" Jackson asked, amazed.
"She opens one," Cass said, feeling unexpectedly proud.
"Cool!" Jackson noted.
"Should we continue our game?" Jeremy asked.
"Sure, I'm not going to say see you because after all, we will see each other anyway right?" Jackson said to Cass.
"Yeah, bye guys!" Cass shouted after the boys as they already made their way to the field.

After a cooling shower, Cass lied on her bed and opened up her Mac. She decided to watch Teen Wolf ,one of her favourite movie series, besides Mortal Instruments. It was two to nine and she hadn't taken her dinner yet since Daphney hadn't return home yet.
Suddenly, she realised the tonnes of assignments she got from the day. Exhaustedly, she closed her Mac and head to her desk in front of the back window to grab her books out of her backpack.
A figure behind a blue curtain caught her eye, a boy with styled up hair, slightly taller than her was changing. A shirt was thrown on the bed, without the curtain roaming over it. It was the jersey Jackson was wearing.
With a new feeling, Cass sat on the chair and finish her assignments, trying not to be distracted by whatever was behind the blue curtain of the house behind her. Sparks is really flying around her, or at least in her.
