Chapter 17

So....I haven't been on for ages....I have been so damn distracted and for that I fully apologize. I apologize for not updating on Christmas or New years but I'm not going to be able to update all the time.

I would like to stress that I am studying at the moment even though I'm not on campus. Not to mention I spend a lot of time during evenings with my family/boyfriend and friends. Trying to fit writing in around all the other things can be difficult and a little stressful. I know that a lot of you wait patiently for me to update and I would just like you thank you all for doing that. And I know I have quite a few messages from different Wattpaders who try me to hurry up and update. Updating is one of those things where I want things to look as great as they can. And at the moment they are fixing up the internet around Australia...if you are Australian you would have heard about NBN. Well I have it now but while they're doing my whole neighbourhood sometimes it can cut out and my parents turn it off at night.

Another thing that has been bugging me a little bit. I, at the moment, have a boyfriend. Now people are under the false illusion that if you write anything girlxgirl that you are gay. That is a false accusation. I am known as Bi-sexual.  I'm totally getting off track here >.<

ANYWAYS!!

What i mean is you can be any gender, sexuality etc and write same sex love stories. Just for future reference and in case you see me being like had a great time with the boyfriend...and you're all like... "But...she's gay?" I'm not completely gay ;) if you get what i mean.

I woke from that weird dream and shook my head. I couldn't let her distract me. That's what she wants me to do. Maybe she thinks that if I'm pleasured enough I'll spill information. Information I don't actually have...yeah great. I burry my head in my hands and groan. Today I have to appologize to Leo. I'll probably have to face Tyler and Crys. I'm seriously starting to freak at the moment. How can I face all these people? I don't want to face any of them...instead I want to roll over and fall back asleep. Unfortunately...I can't. 

I groan and kick the covers off of me and open the door. I walk down the dead corridor and wandered around. I made my way to the staircase and went down it towards the sitting room. I found Crys sitting there cross legged in front of the fireplace watching the fire die down to embers. I sneaked up on her silently. Suddenly the embers turned into a roaring fire again.

"This is how they died..." her voice caught me off guard for a moment. She beckoned me to sit next to her and I did. 

"Who?"

"No one in this house is being real with you. Not even this girl or her brother. We all have our dark secrets Eureka..."

"Crys?" I asked freaked out. "What's going on?"

"I am not Crys...I'm Natalia. Guide of spirits and chosen one." She sighed before looking at me. Natalia was right...this isn't Crys. Her eyes were fully glazed over and she wasn't smiling at all. Her face was pale and her lips were a nude colour. "You aren't afraid?"

"No," I replied. "I have dealt with werewolves and Vampires...shapeshifters and humans with unhuman strength and god knows what else without even realising. Now that I know what I'm looking at I'm not scared."

"That is good, because no one is telling you anything that's truthful." Natalia said to me before turning back to the fire. "You were meant to protect. You were made to protect."

"How? I can't even fight."

"Wrong," she said pointing her finger towards the fire. "Can I ask you a question?"
