Chapter three

Abby's pov ( still in her subconscious)

"How do I get back home", I choked.

she smiled, "the answer lies within your heart". she spoke with the voice of an angle. I thought about the earth. and, sure enough , it worked!

( now she is waking up)

I look around to see that I'm in a strange room with an arm wrapped around my waist. That alone is what cause me to scream.

"AAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHH!!!!", I shouted. the strange man shot up and hovered over me in a protective stance, shouting "what happened" over and over again.

Once her saw that there was no danger he touched my cheek, it was then that I recognized the sparks which could only mean one thing MATE my wolf declared. I looked up and notice that he was only in his boxers and as embarrassing as it what I was naked.

"Uh..... did... we.... you know.... um... Uh." I stuttered. he huskily chuckled. "no, we didn't have sex, if that's what you were trying to say." I couldn't help but turn a rosy red after he said that.

" My name is adam, alpha of the shadow land pack, and what my be your name." he asked. I looked down while saying, " um.. my name is Alice, I was from the evergreen pack".

"What do you mean was??" Adam said.

"Well, I left ." I said as if I was talking about my favorite cereal." Why did you leave" he questioned. Ok. He needs to chill, like, what is up with all of these questiones. I understand that he wants to know things about his mate but this is just ridiculous! "listen" I say. "i'm not to keen on trusting people that I just met, so I'll tell you when I'm ready. ok?" I try to reason with him.

"Who hurt you?" he asks with an emotion mixed between sadness, anger, and guilt. "nobody, ok!?" I snap. I know that he was just asking but I can't have people pestering me that I don't really know.
