Chapter 5: The Rescue Mission

Dawnzy snuck past the lion guards and towards the place she'd seen the cubs. A little panther cub was wailing for its mommy and a pair of cheetahs cubs were cuddling together. The dens were dark and in tiny stones, making it hard to get in and out. She couldn't even imagine being caged up like that.

She say King Toni growled and looking for the tiger cubs. "Stupid lioness! I knew we couldn't trust her!" He roared.

Dawnzy pounced on the king and slammed her class into his eyes. The king roared in shock, pain and terror before falling limp. Dawnzy got off, ready to strike the king again. King Toni got up and shook his pelt. "Striped rodent!" He roared.

"Fuzz head!" Dawnzy challenged.

"Decayed stripes!" King Toni snarled before lunging at Dawnzy.

Dawnzy dodged. "Wow, that mane must make you slowed then your great granny!" She laughed.

King Toni jumped at her again and Dawnzy slapped him. "Back off, fuzz head, or else."

"Or else what?" King Toni challenged.

As she spoke, Azekeo entered the den. Following him was Momma Flix, Pappa Zu, and Auntie Qwin. "Take him to da pit!" Azekeo declared.

When the four cats led King Toni to the tiger territory, Dawnzy took the time to release the cubs. They cheered in happiness. A guard stopped her from walking out. "Thank you for getting King Toni away, we really hated stealing cubs."

"No problem," Dawnzy replied.

"C'mon, let's get the cubs back home," the guard said, instructing the other lions to help.
