"Call him!" Rosa exclaims the second I've finished telling her what happened outside the cafe.

We were at Rosa's house since I'm not going back to work today. Barbara, my boss won't mind, probably because its mostly always empty.

I love Rosa's house, its such a homely place compared to mine. There is always an amazing smell wafting out from the kitchen because her mother spends most of her time cooking, me and Rosa always end up trying what ever she cooks. Rosa is an only child, I'm always jealous of that because she gets a lot of attention from her mother and father whereas I have a brother. Not that we get much attention anyway from our parents because they are barely ever home.

"What? No!" I reply, crossing one leg over the other I say, "I don't want to get involved with them." That was a lie. Deep down, I know that I do want to. I'm intrigued by Harry and I don't know why, I barely know him!

"I think I've seen Niall at school before," Rosa thinks aloud before adding "Yeah, he sits at the back of science, I've never heard him speak though."

"I find it strange why they spoke to me" I tell her. I mean, I'm nothing special. Why would two attractive guys talk to a girl like me?

"Maybe they just wanted to intimidate you." Rosa replies, shrugging her shoulders before standing up. I give her a confused look as to why she's stood up. "I'm hungry and I think mum has made brownies,"

I stand up and follow Rosa downstairs and into the kitchen, the smell of hot brownies wafts up my nose.

I think about what Rosa had said. 'Maybe they just wanted to intimidate you.', if that was true then why did Harry save his number on my phone? I need to know more about them. Maybe I will be calling Harry after all.

"Hazel dear, would you like some brownies?" Rosa's mother asks me, turning around from the sink where she was washing up. She's always really sweet, I don't think that I have ever seen her angry.

"That would be lovely, thank you." I say. My eyes dart over to the tray of brownies where Rosa is already taking a bite out of one. I grab one and bite into the chewy, delicious treat.

"There's a party tonight," Rosa says once her mother is out of the room. She goes to a lot of parties, the ones that the popular teens at school have. I've never been to one and am not planning to any time soon.

"Have fun,"

"Hazel, please come! You're seventeen and have never been to a party, its not normal," Rosa shakes her head as if she's disappointed at me.

"I just choose not too. I know what goes on there and I'm not into that." I lean my back against the cool counter. I hate the idea of getting drunk, you always regret what you do the next morning.

"Suit yourself." Rosa shrugs. I'm glad that she doesn't push me to go, maybe she just knows that she won't win the argument.

"I'm going to head home now," I say after a few minutes silence. Rosa hops down from the counter top that she's sat on, this makes her taller than me again. I'm quite small, I must have gotten it from my father.

"I'll drive you."

The ten minute drive back to my house was spent singing the latest pop songs that played on the radio.

When I got through the front door of my house, I found Joe sat in the sitting room, he was playing on the Xbox with two of his friends. I recognised them as Logan and Bradley, Joe's two closest friends.

I contemplated whether or not to ask the three of them if they had ever heard of Harry and Niall. They are only a year younger so they could know. Well, its worth a shot.

"Hi, can I ask you guys something?" I stand at the side of the television and ask. The three boys ignore me completely, their eyes fixed on the screen in front of them.

"Not now Hazel." Joe says in a rushed voice, I roll my eyes and wait for a few more minutes. I'm about to give up until Logan raises his arms in victory.

"Yes! I won!" He exclaims with joy, he turns his head and notices me. "Oh, hey Hazel."

"Do you know someone called Harry?" I ask outright.

I see Logan and Bradley share a look, I'm beginning to grow impatient after a couple of minutes silence.

"How...how do you know that name?" Bradley asks, choosing his words carefully. I noticed that Joe was looking just as confused as me.

"I, I um...Just heard it somewhere." I lie. The looks that Bradley and Logan were giving each other didn't look good, I don't know what their reactions would be if I told them that I met Harry.

"You need to stay away from him Hazel, trust me on this," Logan says.

"Who's Harry?" Joe finally speaks. I want to know the answer of this too. I want to know who Harry really is. Bradley and Logan share another look before looking at me.

"He's just a bad guy." Is all Logan says, this doesn't give out much information. This intrigues me even more. What has Harry done wrong? Was Luke a part of this too?

"Please tell me, I won't tell anyone else," I literally begged. I don't know why I wanted to know so badly, but I did.

"I'm not sure. Knowing you, you'll probably tell your blabbermouth of a best friend." Bradley speaks badly of Rosa.

"I promise I won't tell her. Just tell me what Harry did!"

"Why do you want to know so badly?" Logan asks. I honestly do not know the answer to this question. Why do I want to know so bad? I barely know Harry, I don't need to know anything else about him but I want to.

"Alright...We'll tell you." Bradley finally gives in, I let out a sigh of relief. Sitting down on the sofa next to Joe, I look at Bradley for him to tell me who Harry really is.

"There was a gang, Harry, Niall, Louis, Liam and Damon. They were always getting into trouble, thinking that they were all badass and shit. They threw a lot of parties, mostly all of them at Harry's since he had the biggest place. I went to a few of them...There were always fights going on, but never between the gang. At one of the parties, Damon...he um...got with Harry's girlfriend at the time. When Harry found out, he was pissed off because his best friend had basically betrayed him." Bradley tells the story then pauses. I want to know what happened next.

"What happened?" I say, my voice no louder than a whisper.

"Harry, he...He killed Damon's older brother." Bradley finishes. My breath gets caught in my throat. How could he do that? I don't believe it...I can't believe it.

"Don't make assumptions, Bradley." Logan heavily rolls his eyes. My hands stay clasped over my mouth in shock of the revelation. "It isn't confirmed that Harry actually did it...he just perfectly fits in with the story."

"He fucking did it!" Bradley's voice raises, causing me to jump slightly. "Harry never went to prison, he blamed it on Damon and the police believed him, I don't know how. Damon went to prison for a year, for a crime that he didn't do. He was released a few months ago," Logan adds.

After they told me this story, I didn't know what to say. It's a lot to take in. One thing I know is that I am definitely not calling Harry now. How could he do that to his friend?

"Stay away from them at school Hazel, they're bad people." Bradley tells me, not that I would have already guessed that.

I need to tell someone. And that someone is Rosa.
