Chapter Six- The ring

Percy's POV-

After our amazing kiss, Annabeth and I just talk on he bed. She was resting her head on my chest as I move my fingers in circles on her arms. About 10 minutes ago she had fallen asleep in my arms. I look at the clock. It read 10:30. I was starting to move Annabeth off me when she stops me.

"Please stay." She says slightly opening her eyes to look at me. She was so cute when she was pretty much asleep.

"Okay just give me a minute." I say  getting up and going to the bathroom. When I come out Annabeth was now in different clothes. I have taken off my shirt so I was now just in my shorts. I crawl into the covers with Annabeth, after turning off the lights. She snuggles up into my chest and I hold her in my arms. Soon enough we were both soon asleep.

I was having a peaceful dream. It was just Annabeth and I. We were on the beach at our home, Camp Half-Blood. We are just laying there on the beach looking up at the stars. But then Annabeth start crying and screaming.

"Percy!" She yells. "Where are you?" She screams holding out her arms. That's when I wake up. Annabeth was still yelling/screaming the same things. She has tears streaming down her face just as fast as a waterfall. I try grabbing her arms but she punches me. I try again this time getting my arms around her.

"Annabeth." I say rocking her. "Annabeth listen to the sound of my voice." I say trying to wake her up but not wanting to scare her. Her eyes are still closed.

'Percy I can't see you. Where are you Percy." She yells. "Don't leave me again." She whispers that time, causing more tears to run down her face socking my chest, but I didn't really care. A coupe tears come out of my own eyes from watching and listening to her be like this. She seems so scared at hurt me.

"Annabeth just listen to my voice. I'm never leaving you again. No one god could take me away." I say. She then opens her eyes. When they land on my own, relief floods into hers.

"Percy." She whisper/yells throwing her arms around me.

"Shhh. Its okay. I'm here. I'm not leaving you again." I rock her in my lap some more.

"Percy I was so scared. We were back in Tar- Tart-" She burst out crying again.

"Shh say no more." I try to get her to stop.

"No I need to say this. It was the one time when we where killing those monsters that put the curse on us. I-I wasn't capable of my sense over sight anymore. I was completely lost without you. I was hearing you yell my name. But every time you said it, you sounded farther away. I don't want that to happen again."

"Annabeth look at me."  She wouldn't look. "Please look at me. Let me see your beautiful grey eyes." I said. She stifled a small laugh with  slight blush. She finally looks into my eyes.

"Annabeth, I'm never, ever going to be leaving you again. And never will I ever let you go back into that place again. And if you are forced to, I'll gladly take your place. You will never have to see that type of danger ever again. No matter what, I will not let anything or one ever hurt you ever again if you are to hurt protect yourself." I ranted on. I had added that 'to hurt to protect yourself' part cause I knew that she hated people protecting her if she was okay. "If I have to die to keep you alive or save you and everyone else I will. I promise you Annabeth when ever you are in trouble I'll be there in a matter of seconds. I'll be by your side for everything that occurs in our lives." I finish, she has more tears in her eyes, but they weren't from being scared and anything like that. It was from joy or happiness.

"How can you make a promise like that Percy?"

"With all the love I have for you. That's how." I lean over to my stuff and pull out a small box. "I was waiting for the best time to give you this. And, well, now is the best time. I hope this helps you remember the promise I am making you right at this moment." I pull Anabeth off the bed with me and as she whaches me, I move down onto on knee and open the box.

"This is to all the promises I have and will make in the fature. I promise to always protect you from danger. To keep you safe in my arms and to always love with everything I can give you Annabeth." I look up to Annabeth's eyes, to see tears of happiness in them. She gets down onto her own knees and tackle me in the biggest huge ever.

"I love you Annabeth." I said.

"I love you too Percy." She lets go and looks down into my hand at the promise ring. "Its beautiful." She said.

"I tried to find something that would match your beauty but nothing I found even compared to it." Blushing she places the ring on her hand. The ring has a silver band with a purl in the middle and grey and sea green diamonds surrounding it.

"Oh, gods Percy. You have no idea how much you mean to me. And how much I love you." She looks up into my eyes and places a hand on both sides of my face. We just stare at each other for a minute or two. Then quickly pulls my face to hers and starts kissing me like her life depended on it. I pull her closer to keep in my arms. Annabeth is now on my lap. I slowly lay down on the ground on my back causing Annabeth to be laying on top of me. I was holding her so close to me that nothing could get in between us. I wanted to stay like that for ever, but sadly we were still human and we had to breath. She pressed he forehead to mine as we breathed in the same air. I could feel her heart rate slowing down against my chest. We just glazed lovingly into each others eyes.

"Percy do you want to move in with me?" She asks me. I could tell how nervous she is.

"Yes Annabeth I would love to." I reply. I kiss her again before getting up with her in my arms. I place her down on the bed. 

"We can start moving things over after going to get you a dress." I say to her. 

"Okay. We should probably try to get some sleep now." She gets under the covers once again sluggling into my chest.

"Good night Annabeth." I said.

"Good night Percy." Annabeth said already half asleep.

There fianlly!!!! My last update of 2013!!! The rest of the chapters will come in the new year.
